The Vampire Diaries’ newest big bad has finally been cast. And no, it isn’t Regis Philbin. (Sorry, Ian Somerhalder!).
Actor Scott Parks—whose most recent credit includes a stint on Homeland as a team agent—has been tapped to play the elusive Silas, the CW has confirmed.
Of course, that doesn’t mean we’ll actually see a lot of Parks in the role. Fans who watched the most recent episode of The Vampire Diaries know that Silas can take any form — a skill he’ll likely put to good use as the series races toward its May 16 finale.

I had a completely different picture than Scott Parks tbh ..
ReplyDeleteI was hoping they'd go for a 30+ year old Arab actor. Not only different, but probably more appropriate given the time period Silas was supposed to live and where.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand... he basically has no experience. Literally, his IMDB is almost empty.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like David Tennant.
ReplyDeleteIt means that we will rarely ever see the character's true face and he will almost exclusively be played by the other actors and actresses on the show. So far, David Alpay and Candice Accola have taken their turn as Silas and I expect many more will as well.
ReplyDeleteI prefer it this way as well.
ReplyDeleteLike this hot guy in Mummy, Oded Fehr? He was also playing in Resident evil.
