Actually, taken in context with the other Monroe themed sneak peak that has been released, it would appear that some time has passed since the events in Atlanta. If that is the case, and since Miles didn't look like he was expecting that question from her, I don't think Charlie has been hounding him on the issue. And that shows some maturity and growth on Charlies part. Possibly even respect in realizing that Miles lost someone in Alec that he was close to at one point in time and she's finally learned that you have to give people space and time to deal with those events.
If this scene is any indication, Tracy Spiridakos has really stepped up her acting. It's interesting to see this switch with Charlie as the stoic soldier and Miles concerned about her. Can't wait for this episode!!!
I think that is one of the themes we're seeing set up by the show. Two episodes ago Rachel is commenting on how Charlie sounds like the "unemotional" Miles, while in the last episode Miles flat out tells Alec that Miles is no longer trying to be that guy. Charlie is losing a bit of her soul and humanity even as Miles is struggling with all the conflicted emotions caused by the rediscovering of his own.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Will he brush her off again, or actually tell her. And if he does tell her, will it be the truth?
ReplyDeleteright about now you sound like a reporter :P
ReplyDeleteI would say more like a narrator, the only thing missing is "Find out next time on Revolution!'' ;)
ReplyDelete@moonwisemama I share your curiosity! :)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad she didn't give up on wanting to find out what happened. But she also has to stay respectful
