  1. Yeah, "Bachelorette Party" had some good moments, like Nick trying to use his Dead Dad Pass to get a picture of Shivrang's penis and Winston once again taking things too far. But overall, I've been a little disappointed with the past two episodes, especially with all the hype they've been given. First there was all the speculation like "what will happen when Nick and Jess go on a date?" but really it was nothing. Nothing happened. And then it was said that in tonight's episode, Nick was going to walk in on Jess getting all hot and bothered while knowingly checking out the picture of his penis.

I don't know...it just feels to me like the last two episodes have been nothing but filler. I'm looking forward to the next episode because that's supposedly when Nick and Jess finally hook up and have sex. Overall though, I certainly hope they step it up because the show usually cracks me up, but the past two weeks have been lacking.

  3. Not as good as some of the previous episodes, but generally a solid episode overall. I didn't find any moments hilariously funny but it was enjoyable and had some great parts to it - the whole name pronunciation thing was pretty priceless I have to say. Also Merritt Wever! FANTASTIC - just love her. Is she going to be sticking around? Or is it a one time thing? I'd love to see more of her character.

  4. It's official ladies and gentleman, New Girl has now gotten to the point that every show these days seems to get to: a couple gets shipped to the point where if an episode doesn't have tons of development for their relationship, it's instantly (and wrongly) deemed as filler.

There's other characters. And even with Nick and Jess, who I DO want to get together, why does everything have to HAPPEN NOW GIVE IT TO ME NOW I WANT INSTANT GRATIFICATION. Honestly it's lucky they're even exploring it this early in the show, the initial assumption by many was that it'd take a few seasons before they 'went there'.

  5. Okay, you need to take a chillaxative. I was only stating my personal opinion of the past couple of episodes. You have your opinion; I have mine. But seriously, just relax, man. It's just a TV show. It's not that big of a deal.

  6. Nick and Jess on the back burner taking it slow is fine for me because once they seal the deal you can't take it back and the show will suffer this is just my opinion. I loved Schmidt with Elizabeth those scenes were so genuine I forgot I was watching New Girl.............that was magical chemistry. Line of the night....you look like a homeless pencil LOLOLOLOLO I may be the minority but I like Cece with Shevrang....I hope we don't have a Graduate scene with Schmidt banging on the chapel window........and Cece jilting the groom. Too predictable...hey maybe if that happens Nick and Jess will jump in front of the altar and get married instead................can't let a paid for wedding go to waste,

  7. Trust me, I'm relaxed. I too was just stating my personal opinion. This same thing happens with every show. Or at least, online discussion makes it *seem* that way.

  8. And by the way, I have no problem with them taking it slow either. My problem was with the way they hyped it up like something was going to happen. Then when nothing did happen, that's when I felt disappointed.

  9. Not the funniest, but definitely a great episode. Loved the dynamic between Schmidt and Elizabeth, very honest, very real. Nick and Winston were great on this. Oh, my gosh, but I still don't understand what Jess meant on the last episode (First Date) when she said "Middle school dance rules. Three feet on the floor, no body hugs". I didn't understood the metaphore, is that some kind of expression? Please someone help!! =]

  10. basically just the rules of a middle school dance tbh - where everything is made to be really restricted in physical contact

  11. I thought Jess would recognize Nick's penis, she has already seen it right? Or the fact that it has been in picture with orange jumpsuit. Never mind...

Schmidt's SL was the best from the ep, my heart breaks everytime he watches Cece and Eliyabeth was great and it felt real.
