sadly a lot of colleges tend to sweep things under the rug in order to perserve the repretation of the school. Talking about it is good but most are still afraid to come foward fearing that the school won't do anything about it.
what an episode! The saddest thing is, it was really based in multiple recent cases happening in the USA. Steubenville and other universities. Those high school/college kids don't really understand/care that they're committing a crime and that scares the hell out of me. I've been watching SVU since I was 13 and there were always episodes like this. Honestly, this is much scarier than when the rapist is some unknown creep.
Wonderful episode! Did anyone else get vibes of Steubenville? To me this was a good thing: get the story out to try and prevent it from happening again, college or high school.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Really good episode , still do not like the fact that Liv is still with Cassidy
