  2. Didn't like it either - won't even be giving it a second chance.

The mark of a good actor or actress is the ability to play different roles. That said, this show definitely proves Sarah Chalke isn't a good actress... this is Elliot Reid in a new setting.

  4. I almost never really like "Pilots" and second episodes, it feels like they're trying too hard to tell a whole chunk of story so we're all caught up, so I'm probably gonna give it a chance.

  5. Great cast, except the ex-husband. I thought he was trying way too hard to be like Paul Rudd. Sadly the script was not very good. Might give it one more episode, but I'll be surprised if this one makes it.

  6. Her characters in Cougar Town and HIMYM were very much not Elliot, so how does being able to play different roles in two shows and playing the same role in two shows affect your theory?

  7. Watch a few clips from her guest appearence on the Grey's Anatomy episode s9e19 "Can't fight this feeling" on YouTube or the whole episode and then tell me again that she can only play Elliot Reid-like characters.

  8. I saw all the bad reviews, but I thought I'd give it a chance. It was not as bad as I expected. I actually kinda liked it.
