AMANDA PUTS HER FINAL PLAN INTO MOTION — Amanda (Melinda Clarke) forces Nikita (Maggie Q) into a life-threatening situation where she has to choose between saving Michael (Shane West) or saving herself. The team races to find a way to stop Amanda, but with a diminished Division, they might finally be out-gunned. Eagle Egilsson directed the episode written by Albert Kim (#322).

  1. There must be a way for both to survive! I got into this show for Mikita. :(

  2. What about Alex?

  3. I'd hate to see someone from the team die after Sean. But if it really comes down to it, I'd rather Michael go than Alex. The Nikita and Alex relationship is what made and what makes the show, and without Alex, the show will never ever be the same again. It all started with the two of them, not Michael and Nikita.

  4. So true. There's no Nikita without Alex. But I doubt it's any of them. My bet's on Ryan or Sonya.

  5. and there is no Nikita without Michael. if michael dies, this might as well be a series finale.

  7. I don't really do that, you know, stop watching after someone dies, but I can't possibly imagine watching the show without Michael. Probably because I can't imagine Nikita EVER be the same. She would just break completely and never came back from this. And that would just be too heartbreaking to watch.

  8. I don't think they are going to kill of either of them. It will be Ryan I think. I would say Owen, but I have read somewhere he won't be in the finale. I am still very sad that they have killed of Sean. Ryan I don't want to, but I won't mind nearly as much. If, for some very strange reason, it does indeed come down to Alex or Michael, I say ax Michael, I wouldn't bear loosing Alex. But i really don't think they are going there.

  9. *** Spoilery speculation - I know this is SpoilerTV, but I thought I'd give a heads up... ***

Since this show loves to play smoke & mirrors with us, I wonder if this set-up is intended to make us think Michael is the big death in this episode, and it ends up being someone else. I don't know, I still can't see them killing Michael or Alex off until the series finale. It *could* be Birkhoff, but they'd be taking a huge risk by killing off such a fan favorite (maybe I'm just trying to convince myself, because he brings so much of the heart and humor to the series and I'd be downright devastated if he bit the dust... but still). So I doubt it. Owen isn't in the last 2 episodes of the season, and Sonya doesn't really qualify as a big death.

Soooo, after a process of elimination... it was nice knowing ya, Fletch? It's a bit redundant to have him recover from being shot and die a few episodes later, but then, so is faking a character's death only for him to die for real just as quickly. Well, that's my guess, anyway.

  10. I think so too, but I'm worried about Alex. After the last episode, when Amanda told Nikita that she thinks Alex is a living proof you can save somebody but in reality you can't really save people. And then at the end Nikita repeats the same thing. What if this is foreshadowing that Alex can't be saved? I don't know... Alex is my favourite, I can't imagine Nikita without her and as much as I'd hate any of the fantastic four (NIkita, Michael, Birkhoff, Alex) go, I don't think I can go past Nikita or Alex's death. Maybe it really is Amanda? They all said it's not, but maybe it's a lie to keep the fans in the dark...

  11. I'd agree that Michael is a huge part of Nikita (the character) but overall, I believe Nikita wouldn't have made it this far if it weren't for Alex.

  12. Craig all but confirmed it's not Amanda when he said something like "I don't necessarily feel the same way about killing her as I did Percy" and that she'll get a new goal by the end of the season. If it's Alex, I'm honestly quitting the show - I have very few "deal breakers" but to me she and Nikita are both the heroines and the show is focused on their bond. I could even deal with Michael going (although it'd be a huge blow) but not Alex.

That being said, I've subscribed to the theory that it's actually the President who dies and Amanda frames Nikita for it (maybe even makes Nikita do the deed, we don't know if she did something to her with the Chair of Doom...). Craig loves to play smoke & mirrors with the fandom, and maybe he's picking his words carefully here - he said it's a big death/WTF moment, but not actually that it's a main *character* that dies. The President being assassinated seems to fit the bill because while she's not in the cast or anything, her death - if it's pinned on Nikita - will be a huge, seismic event.

  13. We had a long debate about this on IMDB boards - I believe Michael is (obviously) a central character and his relationship with Nikita is important, but the Nikita/Alex bond is the heart of the show. It drives the narrative in so many ways and it started with just the two of them vs. everyone else. God knows I definitely don't *want* Michael to die, but the only death that would truly ruin the show for me (and make me quit) is Alex. (Nikita herself is obviously in no danger until the series finale.)
Fortunately, I'm pretty sure the core trio is safe, it's hard to see the show continuing without any of them. I'd add Birkhoff but I still fear for him slightly - I sure hope they're smart enough to know how much it would damage the show if he died.

  14. Great theory you have got in there. And I subscribe to everything you have just written. I hated losing Sean, because I personally liked him very very much but he wasn't super integral to the show, so it was acceptable in a way, especially if it has a big, long term impact on Alex, as I hope it does. But if they kill off Alex, I am not sure I could bear with the show, and I do love it. It would be just too much out of the show (if there is such a thing). I don't believe they will go there though. The president is a great theory, as is Fletcher. Amanda won't be killed off.

  15. if there stickin to the true la femme nikita then I say maybe Birkhoff or alex but I think they r makin this one diff the title is nikita so I say shes the only one safe I think it would be a beyond stupid move to kill Michael or alex the show might aswell die in my opinion

  16. I'm hoping that the Shop's plan is to put someone in the chair of the US President, maybe the could find a way to put Amanda in there and the WTF death that was teased is the President herself, that would be a huge cliffhanger, and no one we care dies...

  17. It's not Amanda, and I don't think it's Ryan either, because he is on a picture with Nikita giving him the box with ring? Plus he did some voice over for the finale, so the episode might end with Ryan telling the story, like it began with Ryan in 3.0.

Birkhoff doesn’t really out in the field.

And for Nikita to be driven for a new goal so strongly, it has to be the death of Michael and /or Alex. Plus Craig said 2 big deaths, and that this change is “Scary” … so I am thinking it's Michael and Alex. And I hope I am SO WRONG!!!

Don’t think Nikita will kill the President, probably knocked her out. And Amanda cheats, just like exchanging Ryan for Percy, she tried to
kill them all, why would she give the antidote to Michael after Nikita kills
    the President?

Losing Michael and Alex is more than I can even think!
I have been agonizing over this for weeks now!

HOPE I AM WRONG!!!! Or I’ll be more devastated than Nikita herself!
