Thanks to The Spoiler Fairy for sending us the following..

I've got some information on two of the new characters being cast for season 4:

- While Duke is away, his brother Earl sells his boat.
- Jennifer meets Duke in a Boston hospital; she discovers that the voices she's been hearing are really the troubled people in Haven.

    This confuses me greatly.



    Although it seems we will be getting more of focus on Duke which is great, since he was one of better characters in previous season(in comparison to Nathan who got...misogynistic, creepy and plain worse)


    So I guess the first part of the episodes will be Duke trying to get back to Haven? Or find Audrey?

    I don't think so. I think Nathan is one of the best characters in the show. I want more focus on Nathan, we have had a lot of focus on Duke.

    Well i look forward to Jennifer/Duke stuff , im sold beyond words. I hope we will know "soon" the actress who will be Jennifer. Well i think since s2 ended they pretty much sold the actual boat they used for Duke's boat, we didn't see much of it in s3 anyways. I hope we will get more info for Audrey and Nathan later .

    I'm REALLY excited for the Duke/Jennifer stuff, specially because I really like the description for her character. She seems to be a cute girl who could totally win Duke's heart, and that would also shift the focus from Duke pining over a woman he'll never have, because it's a pointless and moot plot. We know it's never going anywhere so it's dumb to waste time on it.


    Seems like Jennifer can read minds and she's been "dreaming" of Duke for a long time, so it'll be very intersting and curious to see if she'll read the trio's minds and if she does, what she will hear. I bet Nathan's thoughts will be mostly about Audrey LOL.


    William is very very shady and I didn't really like what I read but he has the potential to be a very interesting baddie. I'm super curious to see the nature of his relationship with Audrey given the character he's portraiying.

    well i assume these are coming from casting sides, meaning the characters you read the spoilers about are new and they don't reveal the plot or focus of the season. Well casting a new romance for Duke and have his brother looks like they giving him the spot on,but again they are simply sides for new characters. That doesn't mean the season will be called Duke the spin off Im glad he will have his own plot and won't spend a whole season doing nothing , like he spend the entire s3.

    I won't comment on the "titles" you give to a certain character. Its hiatus and we all are tired of s3 "the let's bash Nathan with forced passion ignoring everything the show says based on our personal pov and likes". But you're sure you watched the right show? Because from your "Nathan Description" it seems we have watched two different shows .

    This Jennifer character seems interesting but I am sad the writers decided against bringing Julia back. The actress had great chemistry with the trio and an intriguing backstory tied to the cycle of the Troubles. I too would like to read some spoilers on Nathan and Audrey!!!

    Usually, the not so important stuff is revealed in spoilers, which means the good stuff (AKA Nathan and Audrey) is left to the time when the show airs.

    I like that shows have a character who never gets with the person they pine for - it happens in real life and I liked that it happened in TV. Even if he does get with Jennifer I'd still like to see him look tortured over Audrey.

    In the first season? YES. Nathan was great, if a bit insecure.



    IN S2 they pushed the whole "OH epic destined romance" way too much, to the point of turning him into obsessive stalker who just wanted to OWN Audrey for himself and decide everything for her.



    Bring back S1 Nathan or at least make him recognize his mistakes and I will be content, but the constant whitewashing of the character by fanbase and writers is ridiculous.

    But there isn't anything to move on from...? She made it plain clear she's in love with Nathan in the finale, has never been together with Duke, so the issue should be resolved.

    Yes, the info is from casting sides for Earl and Jennifer. The reason Duke (rather than Audrey or Nathan) is mentioned in the spoilers is simply because both of these new characters had scenes with Duke in the sides, not with Audrey or Nathan.

    and not all duke fans want duke to keep following audrey everywhere and having feelings for her when he cleary sees she wont return them, its one thing to want a couple to be together and different to root for drama with no cause and want one of them to suffer without a little hope, because the show so far gives no room for that.

    it was pretty resolved in audrey's part since magic hour part II and Duke saw,heard her pretty clear and so knows Nathan is in love with her too and wants second chance with her,not to mention people keep telling him "audrey loves nathan" . Is up to Him to move forward and resolve this crush he has for her.


    And the fact they bring a female romance interest for him moves him forward. Lets hope he wont start something and the writers end up either having her being evil or worst kill her off. (haven has bad history with each secondary female character,they either leave or die )

    i need you to define better the term "obsessive and stalker" where you saw that? Where Nathan wanted to OWN Audrey? You watch Haven right? What kind of twisted version you have been watching? Audrey seems capable to take decisions . She took all the decisions in s3.

    Audrey is a character who prefers to suffer in order for people not to suffer.She goes each time in the barn to help the town. she loses her memories each time, she even forgot her own son. When she decided to go in the barn was because she had no choice. She chose to do it again because she couldnt kill Nathan.Without telling him why , when before she was determinated to stay in Haven even the meteor shower started.

    Well i guess when you know the person you love is forced to do something he doesnt want to do you should let them do it anyways because hey free will right? where you watch this version of Haven i wonder.

    it was resolved for Audrey. Duke was still in love with her even after her ILY to Nathan. His love being unilateral does not erase his feelings. So, yeah, he would have to move on somehow, I'd like to know how too.

    obviously for him to move on, because there is something to move on from. I'd like to see how they are going to explore this new relationship and how long will it take for Duke see her (Jennifer) as a love interest.

    If it was Nathan in Duke's shoes I would want him to be happy even if it 's not with Audrey .Not pine over a girl that will NEVER want him .But Audrey will never stop wanting Nathan .LOL
