  2. Oh damn August? Was hoping for July but happy they are doing a companion show, if there is one show on TV that can be analysed to death its Breaking Bad

  3. I was hoping the July 14 date Aaron Paul tweeted back in the day would turn out to be true. Sucks we have to wait a month longer.

  4. Kind of sad we have to wait a month longer, but August 11 is my birthday so that's good.

  6. This better be perfect television. That long of a wait to do 8 episodes better be good.

  8. My beloved Breaking Bad, we're only 4 months apart but that seems to fucking long... AMC, you really are milking this and testing the fans' patience. I thought it would start on July 14 : it made sense, and AMC's official Instagram account tweeted a photo of Aaron Paul showing a paper saying it'd come back on July 14 (and that was weeks after it was originally denied it'd return on that date). Well, The Killing airing its 12-episode third season over 10 weeks from June 2 to August 4, it makes sense, but I was really hoping for an earlier return.

I will be watching Talking Bad. Great title, btw. I'm doubtful AMC cold duplicate that to Mad Men though, Talking Men could be misleading. Anyway, a live show about my favourite series sounds fun. If the people hosting it are smart enough (more Jon Stewart than Daniel Tosh ; I'd be rooting for a famous critic, or someone who actually does know about analysis) and if there are guests every week, I'm intrigued.

I hope there'll be analysis on the directing/photography (perhaps with commentary on some key scenes from the director of the episode). The BB crew puts so much effort into making the show look gorgeous that it would be a shame for Talking Bad to avoid that aspect altogether, and I feel like they will.
