  1. I don't think any show needs a remake.

  2. Charmed! By the end of the series, they all had 3 children, so there is 9 characters and it could be interesting. And you already have a backstory which 90210 didn't really have.

  3. I think you should just leave all these brilliant shows on a high, not remake it and give it a crap rep for future generations

  4. I actually would not like to see any of the shows listed rebooted.

  5. Veronica Mars, would have loved to see her in FBI and find out if dad won the election.

  6. LOST: The Next Generation. Not back on the island though.

  7. The A-Team, 7 Days and Streets of San Francisco.

  8. Friends in 10 years time, the twins and Emma and Ben as the older crowd :-)
No need to remake any show though, just make new shows as good or better than these were.

  9. I would be seriously pissed if they remade Buffy. I'm over the moon that the planned reboot movies were cancelled.

  10. Charmed-I always liked the idea of a series with Chris and Wyatt and maybe a male cousin. Charmed with male witches would have been interesting.

  11. Roswell or any of the Stargates....

How exactly do you have a Seinfeld the next generation?

  13. Most reboots are just terrible frankly....

It takes the right kind of series that has a very story-driven premise and a setting that can plug in new players without affecting the story. On top of that the original series needs to have had no absolutely unique characters that new characters will pale against.

The first thought is Buffy, but while the premise lends itself to a new slayer easily, the characters are so iconic that I think any new series or movie is doomed to fail....

I have no interest in any high school dramas frankly. The few that were good were because of the characters and cannot be remade.

Maybe Roswell since the premise can easily be rebooted in any city where they had "alien landings".... or for that matter a few other alien conspiracy shows might be okay too. The 44oo, Taken, Stargate spin-offs, First Wave, Earth: Final Conflict etc...

Definitely NOT The X-Files since while that show has an easy to duplicate premise it has impossible to duplicate characters.

  14. Charmed. It would be interesting to see the Charmed Ones kids as adults and how the future is like now.

  15. I wouldn't pick any of those. I can't think of anything I would pick.

  19. those shows are so unique and amazing, I don't know if a remake would do it justice.

  20. after reading the comments, I think the idea for Charmed would be great, not a remake but a follow up =)

  21. Charmed is my all time favorite show, I really think there could be a lot to work with in a 'next generation' show.

  22. 21 Jump Street would be awesome, but not like that stupid movie they made.

Charmed, but not CW. Maybe ABC?

  24. Easy, Charmed! They introduced the older Wyatt and Chris already and mentioned Phoebe and Paige's three kids each. With still Cole wandering around and enough Phoebe and Coop material (although they married in the end, their romance was kinda short). Also Shannen Doherty did go back to 90210, so why not gueststarring on Charmed?
Ok I've had probally too much time when I watched this show (a)

  25. Dark Angel! Damn it, i wanna a real ending for this.

  26. Honestly? In a few years I wouldn't mind seeing what Ben and Emma are up to.... as a rule however I can live without "second generation" reboots....

  28. I'd die for a movie or a TV movie or a 10 episode wrap up mini series...

  29. Those two were the best shows. They can make a one tree hill one since all of them brought babies. it would be so fun

  30. Yeah I donated to the cause, they were trying to get 2 million and had that in one day, now they are almost at 4 million with 22 days to go. Supposed to start filming this summer. Kickstarter is a wonderful thing. lol

  31. I want to know if the movie is like the finale episode or what. I want to watch the show but didnt cause it was canceled. if its like an ending please tell me

  32. Go to kickstarter.com and put in Veronica Mars and there is a good video that goes with it. The movie will not be out until 2014. I did not watch the series until after it had already been cancelled, I bought the DVDs of all 3 seasons and it is one I have watched many times, almost as much as I have Supernatural.

  33. So this topic came upin a conversation I was having the other day and I totally remembered: T70sS!!!

A reboot maybe set in the 90s grunge era, where Hyde has taken Red's role in a lives of some other kids living in Point Place, and their hang out is his record store. Also Jackie needs to come back and be their "Kitty"....

(and yes the only reason I need a reboot for that show is so they can rectify the travesty of not having Jackie and Hyde end up together)
