I've always loved 'The Mentalist' but to be honest...this season, I've only watched the episodes concerning Red John. I don't like whining but they're dragging it too long...
You mean the core of the show? The reason why every episode is named red? This show is about Jane's quest for vengeance so when RJ is found and killed that means the show is over
You must've missed the multiple interviews throughout the show, even at the very start of season 1, where Bruno Heller said the Red John arc is a SERIES LONG story. We've known this from the start. I think they've handled it really well and this has been one of the best seasons!
How do they even pull off getting Van Pelt back during one single episode without any hints whatsoever in the previous episodes? I bet she's gonna enter the CBI building at the middle of the episode and be like "I'M BACK!".
You've missed some episodes I think. Tthe actrees Amanda Righetti was pregnant, so the authors chose a storyline for her character at some point. In episode 5x14 it was revealed that she's supposed to go to LA for a course of some weeks. That's why she's coming back in episode 5x18.
I don't know but every single one of them frustrates me (as I see it frustrates other fans). As much as I want to find out who RJ is, I know that would mean the end of the series so I can wait to find out who he is.
Yes, and like I've read somewhere, TM is like HIMYM: if the authors would revealed who the mother is since the very first seasons, the show would be over.
Or it wouldn't have lasted long. I think we're gonna meet the mother at the end of this season and spend next season getting to know her. Which I'm OK with - I wanna know/make sure that she'll fit in to Lily's front porch future.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Van Pelt is back!
ReplyDeleteWasn't she supposed to be back in 5.19? Anyway, it's good to see her back!! I've missed her!

ReplyDeleteWhy there are still people who don't get TM's main plot?

ReplyDeleteexactly. the mentalist is about jane's vengence.
ReplyDeleteyep. i cant wait to see how rigsby will react. knowing how much he talked about her wen she left

ReplyDeleteShe was doing a course in LA hints are not required in previous episodes, they were expecting her back in a month
ReplyDeleteHints? How does that even make sense? Why do they need 'hints'? She was on a course, the course finishes, so she comes back. It's as simple as that.
