Hey, welcome to another edition of the Team Winchester Podcast. While there is no food for thought on a new episode, there was plenty to be discussed in this episode entitled: Listener Feedback #3. It's dedicated to you the listeners and all of your wonderful comments, suggestions, concerns and burning questions. Thanks so much for listening and responding. Enjoy!

P. S. There's a rather big announcement about the future of TWP so please feel free to sound off in the comments.

  1. I am very excited to do the Supernatural Classic podcasts this summer. Seasons 1-3 are my favorites and I can't wait to show just how much of a cheerleader I was for this show in the first 7 years.

  3. Thanks. I really enjoy these podcasts, regardless of whetherIi agree one hundred percent with any and all opinions It's just nice to hear people discussing the show.:)

I know that Dahne really likes Benny and while I certainly don't see him as an evil character per se, I feel there is more to him than we've seen.

I can't believe that he was the only one in Purgatory who knew where the exit was, plus knowing the spell to piggy-back onto Dean's human body too.

I think he must have got his info from someone, perhaps from the Alpha-vamp communicating through a blood connection, or maybe from the duo Naomi/Amnesia Castiel,
IMO Benny has been, or is being manipulated by some one too.

I can also understand Sam's distrust at meeting him for the first time. After all Dean didn't fill his brother in on his Purgatory time and Sam reacted in a logical hunter way.
Benny is a vampire and Sam a hunter, so why should Sam trust him? For all he knew, he could have had bad intentions towards Dean.

As for Amelia, as you said, if she comes back, it has to be in a supernatural way 'cos as a simple love interest she was just unconvincing. She and Sam had the chemistry of a couple of tadpoles and I doubt that their relationship could really have provoked much enthusiasm in anyone.

I liked the idea of the person that wrote in,saying that she could be a witch and Riot her familiar,it was a good point.

However, I don't think we'll see her again unless she turns up at the end of the series to present us with twins to carry on the next generation of Winchesters! Only kidding I hiope!

NO to ever seeing Amelia again, Riot is a maybe. There was a lot of interesting conversation that was cut actually just because I didn't feel like reading angry emails this week. Hope you us join over the summer for our take on classic SPN though, now that's going to be fun, just waiting for the season to wrap up and see how everything shakes out so I re-watch and have things make more sense than what it does now.

  5. The classic SPN sounds fun. I just adore the early seasons and as I'm a late-comer to the show, it will be nice to go over those episodes..:)

I'm with you all the way with Amelia. It was 'nice' (hmm!) knowing her but wonderful to see her go!!!'

  6. I think being that Benny got Dean out of Purgatory and the first time Sam met him Dean and he had just taken out a nest of vamps together should have bought Benny at least as much of an open mind as Sam gave Lenore and Kate. I don't think he should have trusted him per se but I also don't think that Sam should have been so closed minded.

  7. I don't agree about Benny.

If there hadn't been the stupid contrived conflict between the brothers, and Dean had told Sam about his Purgatory experiences perhaps the meeting between Sam and Benny would have gone down better.

I'm not saying Benny is bad, however he had his own agenda in Purgatory. He helped Dean and kept him alive because he wanted out. He didn't do it out of the goodness of his heart!

Then Benny wanted revenge on his maker and that's why Dean found himself in the middle of a vampire fight with his old nest.

As far as Lenore is concerned, She kidnapped Sam and then let him go without hurting him thus proving her good will, yet it took Dean a while to believe what Sam was telling him.

Dean didn't trust Lenore until he saw with his own eyes, so I don't see why Sam should be more trusting than Dean was.

As far as Kate is concerned, I don't even consider Bitten to be an episode of SPN so anything that happened in it doesn't count for me.
