Psych - Episode 7.02 - Juliet Takes a Luvvah - Review

The second episode of the new season is definitely a very fun one. It introduces us to the world of online dating, when both Juliet (working undercover) and Gus (just looking for love) create their profiles on one of the dating sites.

Since it’s Psych, there’s always a place for a comedy of errors and accidental meetings involved in a case like this, so prepare to see at least a couple of crazy dates and one VERY much unexpected and SO FUNNY pairing (honestly, I can’t stress this enough, I was laughing so hard!) in an intimate situation.

Also, Shawn’s mom is back to bring herself Shawn and Henry closer together. That leads to quite a traumatizing event for our psychic, but may be just what he needed to take a big step to the future.


As for Gus, he’s actually doing really well with the new girlfriend (Parminder Nagra!) at his side. But honestly, I'm not sure what to think about her. She seems too great to be true and it feels like there’s got to be more to her. I mean, this is GUS’ girlfriend we’re talking about. Clearly, Shawn is suspicious and very protective of his friend. „Well, I don’t think she’s the one for us”. Her secret, or at least one of them, WILL be revealed in the episode and it’s not necessarily what you’d expect. Is it finally time for a happy ending for Gus? Hopefully the answer is yes.

To sum up, there’s a great new episode tonight with lots of laughs, craziness and snacks (which apple is NOT) and you should most definitely watch it. I’m really enjoying this season so far. Keep it coming!
