I loved almost every scene so much, and I really cannot pick just one favourite. It was a really good, solid episode. And I'm shocked to learn the viewer numbers didn't bring new records. People don't know what they're missing! The whole episode was strong, and amazing.
For the lack of any hugs, I voted for the McGee and Abby lab scene with stabbing the dummy, because Abby is the hugger, and I felt like a hug was missing from the episode.
But every scene....especially anything involving McGee, and/or Adam, Gibbs, Vance, Abby, Tony, The Admiral...was wonderful. I really liked everything involving McGee & Adam, and McGee & Admiral.
When McGee says, "I don't think he understands what I do." And Gibbs says, "Show him who you are." It wasn't "tell him what you do" but "show him who you ARE." And there was the ambiguity of whether it was Adam or the Admiral - of course it was both of them.
It was a really sweet moment between McGee and Gibbs and very different from the way Gibbs interacts with anyone else on the team.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

So much goodness in one episode.
