I thought it was another solid showing by Community. I actually enjoyed it more than the Dean's documentary about making a school commercial last year. There were some pretty hilarious moments and felt like Community S1-3.
I'm glad someone else caught that. I thought that was extremely clever of them. For those interested: examples of MacGuffin devices include: the Maltese Falcon in "The Maltese Falcon", the Lost Ark of the Covenant in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and the black briefcase in "Pulp Fiction".
Also, in the movie Leon, Jean Reno's character signs into hotels under a fake name: "Mr MacGuffin" (Natalie Portman's character is really the main focus of the story).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It was OK. I expected more from a Documentary episode to be honest.
