My 3 favorites were Monroe in the bar, the shootout between Nick and Hanks against the robbers, and Rosalee's family history. In the end I went with Rosalee because that could lead to many more good stories.
The bar scene was classic Monroe. I love when he's awkward but still powering through. Actually i just love the Monroe character so even an episode watching him fix clocks would be good for me.
picked the Nick/Renard scene in the station. Also loved the morons getting shot in the police station-mid gloat. And Juliette being so relieved/happy that Nick called.
Voted for Juliette's hallucinations. I love it when tv shows make create mind-tripping, psychedelic, wonderland scenes. Oh, I suddenly miss Walter! (Fringe)
I found all the scenes with Juliette to be time filler in an episodes that otherwise had pretty good pacing. However I laughed when I saw the floating, glowing lights because they reminded me of the fairies in Clap Your Hands if You Believe.
The best thing that has come out of this love triangle nonsense was Monroe and Nick being roommates. I agree with you on the cooking though. As I was live tweeting I remarked that taste was indeed important.
Mytharc always grabs me more, but sometimes the cool effects make the show more interesting. It's kind of like Sam's Hellucinations, or Dean's scenes in Purgatory. Neither went anywhere, but the effects were cool.
I've been giving special shout outs to the Supernatural VFX team this season because they are hitting it out of the park. My favorite is the Terminator way the Leviathans descended in Purgatory.
Absolutely! I was excited to see her reaction to Nick telling her he was a Grimm but then we went the route of coma and amnesia which was far less interesting.
Yes indeed, to both the roommate situation being the best part and taste being important. I don't bother wasting calories on food that sounds and most likely tastes awful.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteMy favorites were those as well. I voted the bar fight but was really undecided between that and Rosalee's family history.
ReplyDeleteI loved it so much when Juliette (courageously) retrieved her phone and cried when she heard Nick ask if she was all right.
ReplyDeleteThat scene gave me hope that we might be seeing the end of the love triangle and get things back to the way they were last season.

ReplyDeleteYeah, he has a way with making normal situations more interesting, usually in a comical way. XD

ReplyDeleteI figured that the idiots were going to die but I was shocked that it was done so spectacularly. Anything to get the brainless to shut up.

ReplyDeleteBut this time, with Juliette in the know. That would make her far more interesting.
