ReplyDeleteI think it's total BS if Shonda selects Cristina as their childrens guardian......she's said over and over she doesn't want children. Plus wouldn't it contradict the speech Meredith gave to Owen, when Cristina wanted to get the abortion (I believe it was season 8 premier)
ReplyDeleteCristina never said she didn't like kids and is already godmother to Sofia and was willing to be godmother and raise the baby if Meredith or Derek died the last time Meredith was pregnant so this isn't a stretch. She said she didn't want any of her own not that doesn't mean she isn't good with kids or couldn't raise them.
ReplyDeleteAlso Meredith said it sucks having a mum that doesn't seem to love you or want you. Cristina loves Zola that's what makes it so hard for Owen that she was willing to care and love other people's children but didn't want one with him
'She's killing me' makes me think the baby is a girl and Mer will have to go on bed rest or something..
ReplyDeleteIt's not if she likes kids or not...it's that she doesn't want any of her own. If something should happen to Meredith and Derek Cristina would become their parent. Meredith knows this, so why would she want to leave her children to somebody who doesn't want children. Derek has a lot of family members and they have Bailey and Callie as other options.
