I am less fond of the flash backs as the season progresses so this episode wasn't my favorite. While I liked every scene Diggle and Felicity were in, I went with the one where she's making fun of the horrendous cover stories they have told her all year. The humor was topnotch in that part.
Urgh, I hope it was him. That's who it sounded like to me. If not, please let me know everyone so I can edit the poll. Apologies in advance if it was not him.
The voice was disguised with a modulator, so they didn't really reveal that it was him. The way he was speaking made it sound probable, but nothing was revealed.
Love all the interaction between Diggle and Felicity. Wow! Never thought they'd have great chemistry! If I'm a tween I'd probably say I ship it! Vote for "The Hood confronts Moira and she shoots him" because that was what actually drove the entire episode!
The episode was too good to just pick one. There were a lot more flashbacks this time around and I found myself thinking I could watch a whole 45 minutes of the island. It was a great episode and I'm glad Felicity is on board, even though it is kinda hypocritical of Ollie to say he can protect her after the whole Laurel thing.
Tough choice between Felicity finds Oliver in her car, the Hood confronts Moira and Felicity makes fun of Diggle's and Oliver's excuses but I went with Felicity upgrading the technology (on her own initiative!) and agreeing to be on the team only till they get Walter back, thereby showing she's both valuable and sane.
I think it is more wishful thinking on Oliver's part. Plus he will hopefully be very careful about not being seen with Felicity in public so people don't know she's associated with him.
It's such a great pleasure to watch her scenes. I love that they now have her brains and technological know how on their side but I confess I will miss those ridiculous stories they used to tell her.
I agree with all your scenes and love your reasoning for your pick. I quoted this on the Arrow podcast when I was guesting this week because it summed up so well why I think Felicity is a great asset. She's not going to take anyone even Oliver at face value and she is clearly a strong character in her own right.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteOllie finally gets the moves down!
ReplyDeleteAnd Merlyn proves to be behind the island? I didn't recongnize his voice; was that really him?

ReplyDeleteChanged it to reflect the uncertainty. Thanks both of you.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! The best thing this show has done so far is make her a recurring character.
