  5. You don't know anything about her character yet!

  6. Sounds awesome, looks like we'll get more insight in what happens to the numbers that are deemed relevant! :)

  7. I think we might see some Germany in this episode, judging by one of the guest cast being called a "German Policeman". Also, Jonathan Nolan co-writes and directs this episode - the first time he's done both jobs for the same episode

  8. Leon is back? Hooray!

  9. Love the title and the inter-related story concept! (Some of these latest POI's seem pretty threatening to Team Machine!) Also I see Nolan co-wrote and is directing this one!

  11. She's "a lethal and sexy government operative" who :"stops terrorist threats before they can occur" and her skill set "is remarkable" and equals that of Finch and Reese. Any character that is better than the main character (or three of them: Finch, Reese, and the Machine, is usually too good to be true (i.e., a Mary Sue.)

The writers will have to be awfully good to pull this off....

  13. Yes Jim I agree, sounds like Catwoman to me too.

  14. They've been pulling that off with Reese for two seasons, IMO. The prospect of a character with an equal skillset is nothing but exciting to me. To each their own of course! :)

  15. Totally agree. :D
I think philosophically or empirically it's a very interesting idea to be able to create these kinds of various contrasts to the main characters both in broadening their identities to the audience, but also that idea that everything might have a type of equal, or that we all have various kinds of limitations, is IMO both thrilling and interesting for a show that looks at those social dynamics through the use of technology and/or the creation of artificial intelligence. Like this title suggests, the show kind of asks and explores what is really important and is everything we are interrelated?

  16. I bet you are right! Nice parallel!

  17. It does sound super fantastic!

  18. They might as well just put Sarah Shahi as recurring, because I think we all know she's going to be the new Stanton. In fact hearing about her is what made Stanton's death a little less surprising for me. They announced her as a female Reese, and I was thinking "Stanton is the female Reese, so why would we need another one? Unless of course they're killing Stanton off soon." lol I was surprised at how right I was.

  19. Best part I noticed about the press release. Directed by Jonathan Nolan. Let's see if the younger Nolan is as good as his brother. :D

  20. Maybe CBS is 'Chang'ing up the cast a bit. :D

Well, given the fact she's a regular on the Following it's not that surprising.

  22. Oh dear God! This is probably about the 20th time I've seen this explained or had to explain this to someone online: just because you're a regular on one show doesn't mean you can't still be recurring on another at the same time. People have done this on many occasions in the past.

First off, I don't like being talked down to. Secondly, "many occassions" is a generalization - the way it actually works has entirely to do with network cooperation and contracts. When Parrisse signed on as a regular on the Following that became her primary gig - that means she can't film anything else while she's under contract without network permission. While the Following aired at the same time as her episode of POI - they were not filmed at the same time - a key difference. Given the situation and a heads up, Nolan and the main EP were probably able to hash out the exit strategy quite quickly. Does this mean she won't pop up in flashbacks? Not necessarily but it makes it harder for them to pull on her availability - same with Michael Kelly (Snow) given his role on House of Cards. If the networks don't want to share, they don't have to.
