  2. The CGI was not bad! This looks like it'll be a fun episode.

  3. Wait, it's the caterpillar's mushroom from Wonderland? She knows Charming's twin brother and Jefferson too? This show is amazing!

  4. interesting approach where Jack could be the villain of the story

  5. I'm wondering who's the wise woman who gave the mushroom to her.

  6. I'm really glad for the CGI as well after what we got back in Tallahassee, but looks good.

  7. I suddenly felt bad for the giant. They're clearly lying. Also, Charming's twin!

  8. Well, it seems that Jack is a B***.

  9. Depending on how far back this is, there might be another Queen in Wonerland, as there are 2 different ones in Carroll's Novels: The Red Queen (cooler temperament) and the Queen of Hearts (a hot head, which we also know to be Cora) -I had wondered if given the way Carroll had described the differences in his Queens, if the Blue Fairy could have been the other queen?

  10. Ah-ha! Got my confirmation that Jack is Jacqueline ...It could be a triple reference to Lost: Jack (already have a post death scene in relation to her introduction) and Jacob (Jacqueline is French female variation of Jacob) and Alias: Arvin Sloan's daughter that died during child birth was named Jacqueline and this character is an assassin!

Interesting that she seems to know James(?) and has an association with Wonderland! (looks like there could be more than one Jabberwocky since she said she slayed "a" as opposed to "the")

  11. Actually, there are three different queens in Carroll's novels: the Queen of Hearts ("Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"), the Red Queen and the White Queen ("Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There "). The latter two are associated with chess instead of playing cards.

So far, we've seen some allusions to chess - in the promo shoot for the second season Rumple holds a golden chess piece above a chess set of black and white figures; in 2x02 in Regina's room, one of the wedding presents near the looking glass is a chess board and pieces; in addition Regina told Hook that Belle is a "valuable chess piece". I may be overthinking this, but what if Regina doubles as the Red Queen (who is often confused with the Queen of Hearts)? And would that make Snow White the White Queen? Or is there indeed another queen that is yet to be introduced?

  12. Oh, yes! The White Queen! How could have I forgotten! Thank you! :D -Regina being the Rex Queen could work too! (The only reason I thought about the blue fairy was because of how L.C. describes the Red Queen:
"I pictured to myself the Queen of Hearts as a sort of embodiment of ungovernable passion - a blind and aimless Fury. The Red Queen I pictured as a Fury, but of another type; her passion must be cold and calm - she must be formal and strict, yet not unkindly; pedantic to the 10th degree, the concentrated essence of all governesses![1]"
We just don't know enough about Once's version of Wonderland to know how one becomes Queen there? (How hard or easy was it for Cora to become Queen??)

But I also see why else they used Jack in association to Wonderland along with it's title "Tiny"....Cora seemingly shrunk her husband down to size and put him in a box in the FB in "Hat Trick".

  13. Oh yes, good point, the title, Cora shrinking Henry, as well as Jack's comment about the Wonderland food all seem to point to Cora being the "wise woman" who gave Jack that bit of mushroom (?).

And I have the same feeling about the Blue Fairy being a villain in disguise - I'm just not sure if her agenda will be revealed this season.

Right now I'm really looking forward to Cora's backstory, and I'm hoping it will help make sense of her actions. So far we've seen that she's psycho and she has horrible mood swings. Still, I can't reconcile her desperate desire to live vicariously through Regina and make her Queen (in 1x18), and Regina's admission to the Hatter in 1x17 that the Queen of Hearts has always seen her as a threat (and later when Jefferson called Regina the queen, Cora threw a fit that she was the only true queen). If Cora always saw Regina as a threat, why did she groom her to become queen?

  14. Miller's Daughter, PLEASE. Just give it to me, now!!

And, btw, good points about Wonderland. Cora's fury in 1x17 about her being the "only queen" could very well be explained if people saw Regina as the Red Queen. But, IMO, there's still some bad blood between the two of them we haven't seen.
Regina sends her mother through the looking glass, but completely ignores where she is going to at the time. Next thing we know she is sending Hook to Wonderland after Cora. There's something missing here. How did she find out where Cora was? How did Cora capture Henry Sir? How did Regina know exactly where to look for her father once she was there?

The Blue Fairy... I honestly couldn't care less about her, so if they make her a villain in disguise, at least I'd pay attention to her character for more than 5 seconds.

  15. Yeah! I does seem likely that Cora could be that "wise women", unless there is someone else we don't about being in Wonderland at this time.

But I agree it's hard to see through Cora's motives in relation for what she wants for/of Regina...I mean in one way Regina might have proved herself "worthy" of Cora's wishes by becoming a dark Queen in FTL (including the willingness of killing Cora)...But also I wonder if Cora is not also what truly motivates the Curse, because of the fact Regina has to also let go/murder Henry Sr. to enact it!? -Now Cora finds Regina latching onto Henry jr...and now we know that Cora and Rumple are both Regina's parents so it makes sense giving Regina the knowledge of the Curse could have been a shared vision...

  16. I agree that the Blue Fairy/Mother Superior isn't as interesting as she was in season one, but I do notice that despite the lack of attention to her this season she still lingers a bit in the background of scenes and I can't help to think that's intentional...I don't know if she'll be a full fledged villain or not, but her lack of showing very deep or compassionate emotions has always made me suspicious of here, although argumentively she could just embody great self control. Only time will tell.

I also agree there seems to be a missing story or stories here. The writers have been pretty lite on not giving us a great deal of information relating to Wonderland and FTL characters' knowledge of it, let alone we have opened the box to Neverland too!

  17. Yes, there's definitely another piece to the puzzle! And remember in 2x08 when Gold said that he could handle Cora, Regina replied "That's not how she tells the story". So I'm guessing Cora spoke to her daughter after being banished.

  18. "Jack" really??Not even ''Jackie''??
