They're talking to us," Mark Hamill, who played the orphan-turned-Jedi hero, tells Entertainment Tonight. "George [Lucas] wanted to know whether we'd be interested. He did say that if we didn't want to do it, they wouldn't cast another actor in our parts – they would write us out. I can tell you right away that we haven't signed any contracts. We're in the stage where they want us to go in and meet with Michael Arndt, who is the writer, and Kathleen Kennedy, who is going to run Lucasfilm. Both have had meetings set that were postponed -- on their end, not mine. They're more busy than I am."

mumble mumble, the first 3 were perfect until the prequels spoiled them, grumble mumble #oldfogie
ReplyDeletecool
ReplyDeleteThe first three still seem fine to me.
ReplyDeleteYou can still watch the originals. I don't care for the changes nor the prequels. The original trilogy is still perfect.
ReplyDeleteWell, you said that the prequels spoiled them, not the changes that were made to the originals.
ReplyDeletelol, the changes made because of the prequels spoiled them for me...is that worded better for you to understand? :) Things like changing the actors to the prequels versions after they died for example is something I really don't get.
ReplyDeleteYeah I only watch the originals, and avoid them when they are on TV like the plague. It's got the point now that not many people remember what the originals were like, I had a huge disagreement about Jabba not being in 4 originally with someone who insists they are a massive SW fan, but is only in his 20's so doesn't remember the original version for example, lol.
