FX has shrewdly turned to Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter to find another potential hit for the cable network.
Sutter, together with John Shiban (Hell on Wheels), has closed a series script deal for Lucas Stand, which FX describes is a dark, action/horror drama with both episodic and serialized elements. It’s based on an idea by Sutter and follows the salvation quest of a damaged former special ops soldier, who has been chosen to traverse time and place to hunt down and kill Hell’s law-breaking demons.

The scifi stuff definitely sounds outside of Kurt Sutter's comfort zone, but hey, I'm definitely up for it!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's Kurt Sutter, at this point I would back him with anything that he wanted to do and because it's FX there will probably familiar faces as guest stars that I love (HINT: Kenny Johnson needs some work and I miss him on my TV).
