I do like cynical JT is. He could be this comic relief, jovial, chubby dude and he just isn't. It is probably the best, least cliche idea they had to make him unhappy.
This was one of the few times that I've found JT's smartass attitude to be amusing. But, you're right. As much as his "annoyed grumpy guy" routine can get on my nerves sometimes, it's much better than the standard jokey sidekick role that it easily could have been.
I love JT!!, but how is that saving Vincent is Catherine's responsibility??, he knows his situation better than anyone, and he decided to go out anyway, I don't hate Vincent at all, I think he has the right to clear up his romantic issues, it's just that I think he could tell Alex the truth, and then, if they want it, get away together, or whatever, but not keep doing things that he perfectly knows are dangerous for both of them, without warning Alex about it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
