    I actually just bought these books on Google Play because I read the first one last year, after I read the author's other series, Blue Bloods (not in any way related to the cop series) and I loved it.

    Hmm my friend on Goodreads didn't recommend the book at all. I guess I have to check out the series instead. Like Dexter.
