  1. - Laurel is absolutely adorable. I'm getting frustrated that Laurel's "sister" and her new friend Mads are okay with leaving her completely in the dark.
    - Ethan can never be accused of being too subtle. Yikes. If his mission was to seem as shady as possible to the new guy, well mission accomplished.
    - Tutoring. Right. I guess this is where everyone jumps on the relationship merry-go-round.

  2. -I agree Laurel should know too. Once they told Mads, I thought Laurel should have been right behind. I feel like they gave her the band thing and have kinda been at a loss for other storylines for her.
-The guy's a little emotionally charged for secret keeping. But the real question is can we accuse Ethan of wearing guyliner? I don't care how emo the makeup department sees his mental state at,the moment, the guy needs to stay away from the eye makeup and bronzer. It's really really bugging me. I can't pay attention to anything else: shadiness, bad drunken behavior, the fact that his bikes and cars are always broken (i'm not sure he even knows how to fix them at this point. If I were new guy, I would not trust him as a mechanic)--nothing.
-Ha, I think they boarded that ride in the pilot.

I've gotta stop marathoning shows on Netflix. It's so hard to switch to a normal air schedule after that, too much build up, less patience for not-so-good episodes, the anticipation gets me all antsy. Although I was impressed this week, I wasn't disappointed in the least, and these promos for next week look good.

  3. I am happier than I should be about Emma helping Ethan "study." Partly because I like that as students they actually go to school and face consequences for nonattendance and stuff. Maybe I watch too much TVD, but it adds a nice touch of realism to a pseudo-soap. But mainly because I don't like Thayer. I am not a fan of guys who lurk in the Friend Zone until you are sad and emotionally vulnerable and then pounce. And with his MO, how can he not read rebound? I mean please, guy, after all this you think Emma is ready for something real? She's one damsel in distress moment away from being swept away by her knight in brooding eyeliner.

  4. Emma is too nice to Ethan. After last week I'd be done with him. I'm still surprised she didn't deck him.
