    I'm having a really difficult time remembering if you've ever been fine with an episode from any TV show ever.

    You just watch shows that I used to like but have been on downward spirals of recent date. Hart of Dixie had one of their best episodes ever last week and I said so. Lying Game was good last week as was Bunheads and Suits. TVD was okay and I'm bored with Castle and Beckett, but I haven't commented on them yet. None of my other shows are on right now. OUAT, Supernatural and Lost Girl are pretty much lost causes at this point and my loyalty but dissatisfaction are at war. We watch TV for different things.


    Nevertheless, I voted OK and that is the highest a LG episode has gotten from me since 2.09, and I had a pretty favorable review of this episode.

    The epi was alright. You can't win them all. The rubber band guy caught me off guard. I do not like Tamsin as Dyson's partner in any sense. I have never liked Lauren very much but more and more I dislike seeing her altogether. Vex is a skeeve but now that he's aligned with Bo he adds color and a little comedy and he's growing on me. He looks a little cleaner, too.

    Better than episode 1 (though a root canal without Novocaine would also fall in that category). It felt almost like the gang was back together. I'm not super fond of how cliche Tamsin is right now. What was great about the original characterization of Lost Girl was that they took the cliches and either twisted them or made them feel "real." She's just so overdone and simplified I think she's a cardboard cutout of an antagonistic new partner.

    I do have to take back my frustration at bringing in Vex almost full time. I thought it would be hard to integrate him, but he vibes so well with Kenzi that it is the most successful change in the cast and roles yet.

    I think they just put the Doccubus scene up front to try and salvage an overall weak episode. While that scene had merit, and Tamsin introduction was intriguing, overall the weak "Fae of the Weak" case was a bit of a downer.

    It was a drop off from the wit and camp of the premiere and the next episode (3x03 Confaegion) blows them both out of the water.
