Hmmm.... Justified is one of my favorite shows, but now that I´m catching up on Breaking bad it is hard not to compare the two and it seems like Justified is going a bit down hill.
I´m not finding this season as interesting as the former, mainly I miss a Mags or Quarles kind of character,
But that said, this episode did have a lot of great scenes with Raylan and Art. Love the dialog between those two. Boyd´s scene in the church was also awesome. But besides Boyd going there I don´t have much interest in the church or Ellen May.
Amazing episode. I could watch Boyd Crowder vs Billy the Preacher for an entire season. In fact I could watch Boyd giving epic speeches 365 days of the TV year and be perfectly content.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I think the first two episodes are the strongest start to any season......as we say in Glasgow "Pure, dead brilliant!"

ReplyDeleteBrilliant. I've really enjoyed the past two episodes. I could've watched Art, Rayland and whatshisname (Tim?) bantering in the car all day long.
