  1. Holy shit that was intense. I loved it so much and ugh at having to wait so long for season four!

I fucking knew Nathan was James' father! I squealed so hard when it was finally revealed. And LOL at Sarah and Nathan going the cliche route of car sex instead of beach sex. A+. And oh God, the end with Nathan and Audrey and him begging to go with her but she refused to let him.

Audrey and James were also cute. Loved the moments with James and Nathan too, even though he punched his father.

And whoa at the end! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT UNTIL SEASON FOUR STARTS TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS?

    Such a great episode!

  2. If I had to guess, they end up in the future. But because that guy is either dead or recovering, their memories aren't wiped like they're supposed to be. Perhaps we'll see a much older and very bitter Nathan, who had to wait two decades to see Audrey again. I'm sure Nathan would have used that time to try and find a way destroy the barn and send them back to before they disappeared.

  3. The whole plot line made no sense. She has to leave the barn to recharge
because she runs out of love apparently. Surely she could bring someone
shes loves to the barn with her?

  4. I think the troubles will stay and Audrey will come back. She and Nathan will find a way to end the troubles for good. They always manage to fix things and now that they know they love each other nothing will stop them!

  5. That part I could not get, why didn't Duke help Nathan to get into the barn? Audrey is in love with Nathan not with Duke. Duke should get a clue!

  6. I LOVE this theory. However, i know it can't be used because the show would not risk losing the current aged Nathan character - too much of the fanbase would revolt. But i hope your theory is used in some form or other, it's very cool!

  7. I certainly got the impression it was too late to pick up and carry/drag a mortally wounded bloke, the barn was imploding very fast, he had to leap!

  8. Classic Haven style - for every question answered, raise a billion new ones, lol. If Audrey's "fuel" is love, then why not simply get Nathan and Duke in the barn along with her and James? (on second thought, that could get awkward) And who tried to kill James the first time? I'm not sure it was either Arla or Lucy, who then?
Boy, what a cliffhanger though! Season 3 was the best one yet, I wonder what they'll come up with in season 4. It's gonna be such a long wait...

  9. Nathan told him to save Audrey at the end. You could tell in Duke's eyes that he didn't want to leave Nathan there dying. He only went after Nathan told Duke to go after her.

  10. What an ending! Nathan left behind to see Haven being destroyed by the Meteors!

  12. Can never get enough of this show and love how far it has come and where it is today but my biggest question is DO THE WRITERS KNOW WHERE THEY ARE GOING? HAVE THEY KNOWN ALL ALONG? It is such a wonderful ride and so many "reveals" that I never expected and since I'm one of those terrible people who seems to "guess" the answer before it is revealed this is one show I cannot obviously say that. Love that Duke finally admitted that he too loved Audrey which we already know. BIGGEST QUESTION: Arlo was drawn in but what happened to Jordan? Surely she's not in there as well? Could be extremely interesting. Maybe she and Duke or James? Can't wait for season 4 but will be rewatching Season 3 for some time to come.

  13. I really like this show. I've been curious for a while, so I did several marathon watching sessions to catch up with Haven seasons 1-3. I like it when a show seems to know what story it wants to tell from the beginning, and have some kind of plan. I like the overall story arc of Sarah/Lucy/Audrey importance and how it fit into Haven's troubles, and the cyclic nature of the story too. Despite the sometimes mediocre acting and some inconsistencies in character, writing, and episode spacing, I still find this show entertaining and with a great story arc.

I liked some of the recurring guest stars, like Jess from Season 1, "other Audrey Parker" from Season 2, and Claire from Season 3. I didn't really like Julia Carr, though I thought her mother Eleanor was a hoot. Garland was interesting. And the Teagues brothers have always been entertaining and intriguing to me. I guessed that the Dwight actor was probably a wrestler and Syfy's way to helping the demo for this show by adding him, because when he was first added to Season 2, it was such an out-of-place, sudden, and jarring intro . I am okay with the character, and have actually settled to liking him now; but for a while there, Dwight really felt like an extra add-on to the show, and not a fluid guest/recurring star. I hated Evi. And didn't really like the Chris Brody character either. The Rev and skin walker were the best villains so far for the show, at least to me.

As for this season finale...It was really engaging. All of the surprise bits were revealed in interesting ways. I liked how the show revealed Nathan as being James' father (in the barn, on the beach, then at the car), the true nature of the barn and how troubles don't work there and it's restorative ability. I'm willing to suspend my criticism for the explanation of how to end the troubles, both temporarily (fueled on love) and permanently (sacrifice of a loved one), until I see how the writers write out the the final stretches of this show. I'm hoping the writes have some great stuff planned for the last chapters and endgame story. I'm glad I finally watched this show and got caught up in time to see the story up to this point. I'm really looking forward to Season 4!
