  1. Ok! Need more Wade and Zoe, Mrs Tucker is stupid and please PLEASE, stop trying to force the chemistryless Zoe and George, it's embarrassing. And I really like Tansy.

  2. - I HATE George's mum! HATE HER! I'm glad Howard tried to stay out of this... as I said after his heart thing he has gotten better.
    - Glad to see Zoe and George are coming to grips with the "picture perfect" fantasy not necessarily being perfect.

    - Also very happy to see Wade kinda comfortable in his place in Zoe's life. And how adorable was he considering the possibility moving to NY for Zoe, if he has to?

    - Tansy is very sweet, and George is lucky to have her. She does try very hard to pull him out of his shell and he needs that...

    - YAY Lavon and AB! Though overall AB's storyline was kinda "meh", Lavon's reaction to it made up for quite a bit of it.

    - Magnolia thinking Brick was cross-dressing was HILARIOUS! Lemon's answer to thinking the bra was hers was also hilarious!
    - Not surprised by how Lemon handled herself through the whole Brick/Shelby thing (BTW have I mentioned that those two are quite growing on me lately?). But it was fun how she went from ignoring AB to involving Shelby, to being spaced and embarrassed during the revelation to putting on facade for bring but threatening Shelby. Classic Lemon! But not as annoying as last season's Lemon would have been...

  3. To the writers of this show: I'm almost positive that there are more people who want Zoe with neither George or Wade than there are people who want her with George. They are so boring when they're around each other. Wade and Zoe have chemistry in spades, George and Zoe have none at all.

  4. I like George and Zoe. I like Wade better, but George and Zoe have a nice similarity to each other vibe that the episode was playing off of. I loved (well she was being psycho but in a fun way) George's Mom and their whole cross-examination why aren't you together discussion. Wade was so cute with the we're not getting into this drama stuff. I do like Annabeth and Lavon together.

And three cheers for Lemon being Lemon again. I'm very excited about her and Shelby. This could be fun.

  5. I really prefer when he handles things in his own maybe quirky way to the times the writers make him into an idiot for a plot. This was great. He was his usual aware and insightful self.

  6. Best part of the episode BY FAR! Seriously I love how relaxed and trusting of Zoe and their relationship he was.

  7. You're right, I didn't take into consideration about his low self esteem and just how scared these two are of a relationship commitment. I think that Tansy and George's mom finally made them start thinking about the future. It's great that Wade would contemplate leaving Bluebell. But, what about Earl, who would take care of him?

  8. I honest think you guys lost the point of the episode, to me this was a very sweet way of the writers tell the fans that Zoe and George is not the way they're going anymore. I think that George's mom was the perfect representantion of George-Zoe shippers, questioning: You are so simmilar to each other, you guys have so much in common, why the hell you're not together?
I mean, I'm preety sure that the fans of the couple have being asking this over and over, and the little chat between Zoe and George answer it in a way that wasn't harsh, like " We allways tought that Zoe-George was the end game, and they would allways come find each other, but it's not like that anymore, Zoe and wade make a happy couple and George and Tamsy too, so they're not drawn to each other like before, and even if allways will be some kind of empathy between those characters, they're not romantic related anymore, 'they're not in the same orbit', the show has grown up beyond the triangles and these relationship".
It was like they are saying that they won't go that road again, and that they won't break up Zade just so she can be with George.
I loved this. And the calm of Wade was exactly a way to say, don't worry with this anymore, Zade became too strong.

  9. I think Wade has done enough taking care of Earl. Jesse can step up!

i love that they didnt write wade as a irrational jealous person. i really liked how they handled all this.

  12. I agree with you completely about George's mom, she's a piece of work! But, I'm totally puzzled by Wade's/Zoe's lack of not thinking about the future. From their reactions to each other, the sex between them is A+, but that can only hold your attention for so long. Plus Wade's lack of ambition, not wanting to learn to be more romantic (Lavon would be the best teacher, he's very romantic), not using gentlemanly manners (i.e. he didn't pull out Zoey's chair at the Rammer Jammer when both couples sat down to eat in the final scene). But this is the relationship that they both need to learn how to in one and finally become grown ups. It's going to be interesting how things will change when Brick's nephew comes into town!

  13. I think Wade's investment in the relationship comes through in other ways, that count just as much as being gentlemanly and romantic. And I think Zoe knows him well enough to acknowledge that. And I don't blame them not putting too much thought into the future at the moment. They're still figuring it out. But they do care and love (YES! LOVE! ;P) each other very much. But they're both quite scared of commitment. Getting there will take time. I think the simple facts of Zoe reassuring Wade she wasn't thinking of moving back and Wade casually asking Maynard about his prospects in NY, show that they do think about it more than they let on.

And I disagree that Wade is not ambitious. I just think he's got low self esteem which is why he doesn't really go out for things. But he does want better for himself (especially since Zoe came into his life). He just has a hard time mustering up the courage to fight for the things he wants, and just see how things were originally shaping up when he first tried to fight for Zoe! With his usual luck I don't blame him for holding back.
However you are right we need to see more of that, and I do wish they would address th storyline of him trying to open his own bar, again.

  14. I totally agree about Jesse stepping up! Earl totally adores Zoe, he wouldn't mess up a chance for Wade to be with her. I have a feeling that Earl is going to give Wade all that money that he has buried all over his yard to buy a bar.
