There wouldn't be any wicked stepmothers without ex-wives, and ABC's Once Upon a Time will soon introduce viewers to the never-before-seen angelic queen who gave life to Snow White before evil Regina moved in on her turf.
"The Snow White story usually begins with the stepmother trying to get rid of her," says executive producer Edward Kitsis, "so we thought it would be fun to explore what Snow's mom was like. Her name is Eva, and she's the person who taught Snow White how to be Snow White."
Likely airing in late February and early March, the two-part episode, featuring the return of child dynamo Bailee Madison as Young Snow, will naturally take a dark turn. Says exec producer Adam Horowitz: "Snow's mother has a surprising connection to someone we know."

I figured that Lesley lady was playing Snow's mom when I see her in a picture with Bailee Madison!
ReplyDeleteThis is exciting. Can't wait!
Maybe Snows mother and Cora are sisters or something like that.
ReplyDelete"Snow's mother has a surprising connection to someone we know."
ReplyDelete10 bucks says it's Rumple.
That would be dark and hilarious.
ReplyDeleteThat would really make Leopold a creep for forcibly marrying his 18 year old niece. o.O
ReplyDeleteI'm interested to see Snow's mother since we know that her involvement means so many people have lost their mothers.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that maybe Eva is who 'The Queen is Dead" was referring too, but the late February/march date makes that seem unlikely...
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, can't wait for more information in that!
ReplyDeleteNow that's an exciting story line to explore and a two-parter, makes me think this is going to be epic!
ReplyDeleteRumpel or Cora...or both ....humm
ReplyDeleteMaybe he doesn't know about the true family relations of his first wife.
ReplyDeleteMy money is on Cora;)
ReplyDeleteI hope that we won't find out that Rumpel is actually Snows father or something like that. That would be just wrong.
ReplyDelete"featuring the return of child dynamo Bailee Madison as Young Snow" So true.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Ginny thinks of this.
lol please no.... but It can be cool because Snow and Regina would be blood related (so Henry and Regina too in a way <3) so Draaaamaaaaa :D (but it would mean Emma and Regina would be as well and that will break my shipper heart :(...)
ReplyDeleteThe Swan Princess
ReplyDeleteOf course it's Rumple, the writers are obsessed with him and that's why he's overexposed.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Bailee Madison is great as young Snow.
ReplyDeleteAh, so he's just forcibly marrying an 18 year old girl to be a "mother" to his 12 year old daughter. Much less creepy.
ReplyDeleteNow, that would be rather obvious, wouldn't it? How about Granny?
ReplyDeleteIn the past, things like this happened surprisingly often. Fairytale land is like the Middle Ages. Doesn't make it right, but it was normal it some cultures then- even some cultures today. Men would take young wives.
ReplyDeleteMy money is on Henry (Regina's Father)
ReplyDeleteAnd?
ReplyDeleteThis is where they make Eva and Cora related so they can finally silence Swan Queen shippers.
ReplyDeleteDid Leopold force Regina to marry him? The answer is no - Cora did. He only made the offer. And as he seemed to be clueless about everything I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't know a thing about it. Also, what is creepier in your opinion? Marrying a young girl to have a mother figure for your kid (as he did) or marrying a young girl to make one feel younger (as many men, to this day, do)? So, imo he's not that creepy.
ReplyDeleteUm. YES. He literally did not care if the girl herself didn't consent. And whether or not he doesn't "know a thing about it", he didn't check to see if that was what REGINA HERSELF wanted. And because he was one of the people in the marriage, that means that the onus is on HIM to ensure that his bride consented entirely with no pressure.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're kidding yourself if you think that the reason he proposed to Regina was entirely for Snow and not because he would get to sleep with a smoking hot teenage girl.
It's just as creepy because it shows that he holds young women in so little regard that he literally doesn't care if they consent or not.
Yes, there is. There are several mini breaks in there because of awards shows.
ReplyDeleteThat's right! Golden Globes. How could I forget! Thanks, Courts!
