Damn. That surprises me for some reason.

ReplyDeleteI am really interested to see how Emma handles him trying to get to know Henry. She won't be a Regina... probably but it still won't be a simple thing for any one of them. Not to mention how Henry will react when he finds out that Emma lied to him about his father's "death" and everything else about him... I kind a wish it would push him back just a little bit towards Regina but the writers have double standard for them so I guess he'll be pissed then talks to Charming or Snow and everything is forgiven.

ReplyDeleteHe'll be mad for one ep. Then Daddy and bio-mom will make him happy. And if Neal turns out to be Bae, too, then it will be just super predictable.
ReplyDeleteI really, really hope that's not what they're planning to do. But I'm afraid it sounds very likely.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they surprise us with at least with his reaction if everything else will be predictable. Okay, even I can't take that seriously for more than a couple of seconds. And it's not like the identity of the Queen of Hearts was a big surprise.
ReplyDeleteIf they really go with it and let's face it after those set pictures it seems more than likely I hope they have at least a good explanation for his age 'cause the timeline is a mess right now. Not to mention that if I remember correctly Lana said something about Regina knowing him. The big question is HOW? Because that means he either spent some time in Storybrooke or that they met in FTL. Neither options make much sense if he is Bae. Though I accept any stupid explanation if it results in the Pre-Emma-Storybrooke storyline...
Or he is not Bae at all and I don't know... Bae was the "thing" in August's box or something....
I doubt very much that Neal will turn out to be Bae. Mainly because Rumple still doesn't know where Bae is, and I'm pretty sure he does know that Neal was Henry's dad. I believe the producers even specifically said at one point that Gold knew Henry's father's identity.
ReplyDeletePlus, him being Bae is just too obvious, and the OUAT writers (usually) don't go with the obvious option.
Yep but the problem is that this wouldn't be the first predictable thing on the show. Queen of Hearts, August as Pinocchio, Whale as Frankenstein... all of them have been figured out in advance. And let's not forget how the show tried to confuse us with August's identity... so this very well COULD be Bae, except they will try to mislead us. At any rate, I hope he isn't.

ReplyDeleteWithout focusing on the character side good or evil or dark. Michael Raymond James is a great talented actor.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of whether Neal, above all, I admire him greatly for delivery and stamp on each character to whom he gave life. Whether he was on tv-shows or movies. He's an amazing actor.
so I'm very happy that he comes to stay. Adding to cast some more brilliant performances!

ReplyDeleteGreat, more bio-family for Henry to prefer over Regina. They can go be one big happy bio-family because adoption doesn't count. Adoptive parents are just babysitters until the bio-parents are ready.
ReplyDeleteI never said he'd be in pieces...We already had a giant so why not a miniature Bae? But whatever it is it convinced Neal real quickly so I am hoping it's something good.
ReplyDeleteRight. I mean we also have this unanswered question with "how" Gold procured Henry for Regina and then "If" Gold had prepared contacts in the outside world..
ReplyDeleteIn fact it seems like there are things going on out side of Storybrooke that relate to it, or at least FTL and other lands. -The fact that August was playing course corrector with Emma and how we see Neal in the past verses how we see him at the beginning of season 2 does beg a lot of questions,..and I swear the Blue Fairy is the devil too! :D
