I just hired a great new actor for Transformers 4 to star against Mark Wahlberg. Jack Reynor, he is an Irish kid that came to America with 30 bucks in his pocket. Pretty ballsy. Seriously who does that? Anyway I spotted him in a great little Irish movie WHAT RICHARD DID. This kid is the real deal.
Transformers 4, is not a reboot. That word has been floating around on the net.
This movie takes place exactly 4 years after the war in Chicago. The story makes a very natural transition, and reason as to why we have a whole new cast. This Transformers will feel very different then the last three. We are embarking on a new trilogy.

I watch these movies because they are fun action films. As long as they stick to that strength then I'm cool with the changes. It still stuns me how people keep being surprised that these movies aren't anything more than that. Not every movie needs to make you contemplate the human condition.
ReplyDeletethe 2nd and 3rd mainly had a lot of human condition shit. 3rd way too much. and on top of that it was spread to everyone rather then mainly the main dude which they did in first movie, making it focus on 1 dude seems rite in this type of story gives more of a hero type of movie. but mainly it should just have the transformers doing all the planning and mission and stuff all by them selves like the originals.
ReplyDeleteTrue that! I don't get why some critics kill some of that movies by writing that it's bad. Some movies are meant to be fun. A fun movie where you can switch off your mind and enjoy the ride..
