The good news for "How I Met Your Mother" fans is that co-creator Craig Thomas is promising that Robin and Barney's wedding will in fact get married by the end of this season.

The as-yet-unfinished news is that a deal for a ninth season of the show still isn't done.

    Well, I'm definitely glad it's 100% confirmed they get married at the end of this season. It'll be so awesome to see Barney and Robin as a married couple next season.


    On the other hand, it's driving me up a freaking wall that we *still* don't have an official renewal. One of the studios (because it's over licensing fees at this point) needs to compromise already.

    So so happy that BR will get married in the season finale I am just really annoyed by this infertility thing and the news or lack there of a confirmation on the new seasons deal. Come people seal this deal already!
