According to the Steadicam Operator of Dexter, Eric Fletcher, the upcoming eighth & possibly final season of Dexter begins production in less than two weeks, on Monday February 11. The title of the Season 8 premiere, is still unknown. Source

    Yes, it's strange to have a new season in summer.

    And I knew it wasn't a complain. I was surprised too, when they announced they would show it sooner.
