Well done, it's been guessed correctly. Here it is in full.

The Druid Knight asks the Dragonlord not to betray him. Initially he agrees to help and attempts to lead Arthur astray, but his loyalty to the King wins out in the end.

  1. The / first / knight / asks / *** / ********** / *** / ** / ****** / ***. / ********* / ** / ****** / ** / **** / *** / ******** / ** / **** / ****** / ******, / *** / *** / ******* / ** / *** / kill / **** / *** / ** / *** / ***.

Any 6 letter word that starts with k has to be knights. The 4 letter word almost has to be kill as Mordred's girlfriend tries to kill the king and I'm pretty sure she ends up dead one way or another as that's the only way to thoroughly turn Mordred against Arthur and Merlin. Its probably not "first" but I wanted to stick something there.

  2. Oh hello, capital K's. ;)

    The / final / Knight / asks / *** / ********** / *** / ** / *****y / ***. / Similarly / as / ****** / ** / **** / *** / ******** / ** / **** / ****** / *****y, / *** / *** / anybody / as / the / King / **** / *** / ** / *** / ***.

Not many other options for 'anybody' could be loyally, loyalty, royally or royalty but I think anybody might fit best. Do knights get a capital letter like king's do? I can't think of anyone whose name begins with K other than Kara or Kilgarrah which are the wrong number of letters.

  4. the / final / Knight /asks / *** / ******l*** / *** / ** / *****y / ***. / ******lly / ** / ****** / to / help / *** / *****p** / ** / l*** / ****** / *****y, / *** / *** / loyalty / to / the / King / **** / *** / ** / *** / ***.

  5. Initially he agrees o help the *****p** in love escape *****y. But now loyalty to the king will get in his way

  6. Or his loyalty to the king will get in his way

  7. They were good letters, lots to play with here.

    The / final / Knight / asks / his / ********** / *** / to / betray / him. / Crucially / he / agrees / to / help / her / attempts / to / l*** / ****** / safety, / but / his / loyalty / to / the / King / **** / *** / ** / *** / ***.

  8. I like this, it would fit nicely, except it can't be 'will' as we've had the L's. I can't think of an alternative to 'will' without changing other words though.

  9. The young knight asks his accomplice

  10. The young knight asks his accomplice not to betray her, initially he agrees to help the odd couple in love escape safely but his loyalty to the king will (can't think of another word yet) get in the way

Also safely has an l so that's probably wrong and odd couple would be two words?

  11. Just thought Kara also is a 4 letter word beginning with K but still think its king

  12. Safely is wrong for the reasons you said, also Sandi has put the / to mark where the spaces between words are and odd couple is definitely two words so that doesn't work. Accomplice is a good idea but I still think it might be 'betray him'.

  13. Just some words I've been playing with. Doesn't make much sense really. :)
    The / first / Knight / asks / his / accomplice / not / to / betray / him. / Naturally / he / agrees / to / help / the / kidnapper / to / lure / Arthur / astray, / but / his / loyalty / to / the / King / does / get / in / his / way.

  14. I think I may have cracked the first part. Then it goes a bit wobbly...

    The / druid / Knight / asks / his / sweetheart / not / to / betray / him. / Initially / he / ****** / to / help / her / attempts / to / l*** / ****u* / safety, / but / his / loyalty / to / the / King / **** / *u* / ** / *** / ***.

Glad you're feeling better, I thought you were just very busy with work, didn't realise it was an MS attack.

  15. I still think its accomplice as there is an l in there

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oh poop. I missed that L. Thanks, yeah, accomplice looks like the best guess at this point then.

  17. Awww, cheers Annika, I think the rush at work at the weekend (it's a Chinese takeaway) brought it on if I'm honest. I'm over the worst of it now thankfully :)

You're very close, I'll give you a hint and let you all know that I have used someone's name in this hangman. I usually try to avoid them as it makes them trickier, lol.

  18. So very nearly there I think!

    The / druid / Knight / asks / the / Dragonlord / not / to / betray / him. / Initially / he / agrees / to / help / and / attempts / to / lend / rescue / safely, / but / his / loyalty / to / the / King / wins / out / in / the / end.

Obviously "rescue safely" is almost definitely wrong, its the only bit that has me stumped.

  19. Yes, I have noticed its usually Sorcerer or Priestess etc. I think it made the first one trickier but now that we know you do that we look for those words instead of names. Hmmm, I can't think of whose name. I thought it might be Gaius but that has the wrong number of letters...

  20. Sorry to hear that you have been unwell!

  21. Cheers hun, if I'm not about much here or online in general it's usually the MS that has sidelined me unfortunately :(

  22. If this isn't right then I don't know what is...

    The / Druid/ Knight / asks / the / Dragonlord / not / to / betray / him. / Initially / he / agrees / to / help / and / attempts / to / lead / Arthur / astray, / but / his / loyalty / to / the / King / wins / out / in / the / end.

  23. Well done!! It's this betrayal that becomes the crux of the episode for Mordred.
