  2. "I'm Bo, Bitches! And I'll be back!" Such a bad ass! \o/

  5. I looked everywhere for the gif but couldn't find it. So I'll just go with the quote from Kenzi: Danger danger! She's lost her shit.

  6. Wow that was bad. I really think they should have learned their lesson by now about making characters "not themselves." Plus, Anna Silk can not act well enough for the crap they are giving her--or really at all if asked to say puns in earnest. Plus, blanket exposition like that. So heavy-handed. Sheesh.

  7. I'm going with sad, but frustrated is a strong possibility.

  8. I didn't like it either. Felt... staged, somehow.

  9. Am I the only one who thinks this looks bad? What's with the awful dialogue and acting? Unless this is somehow a fake out so Bo ends up in prison, that's just cringe-worthy.

  10. Yay more complaining. Lets start another round of that.

  11. OMG. Cannot wait.

  12. Way too cartoon-ish. And what's with the horrible dialogue between Bo and Dyson? It's always been bad but this is too much, even for me.

  13. I started watching S1, and although it was decent, I only got halfway thru as it didn't hold my interest enough to make it must see. After seeing this, I'm not sure that I'll finish catching up as even though I don't have the context of what's happening, it comes off a bit meh.

  15. I feel the same way, nevertheless I'll still watch. Sneak peaks never tell the whole story anyways. Besides Lost Girl is a guilty pleasure. ;)

Yeah it was difficult to watch Anna Silk (and listen to her southern accent) during the body-swapping fiasco. Zoie Palmer didn't do herself any favors either. KHR and K. Solo had the only admirable performances in that one.

  17. I thought KS's performance was the weak one. I only really liked KHR's (best) and ZP's.

  18. Zoie Palmer? Really? To this day, I think Palmer's performance as the insane dark Fae in that episode was the low-point of the entire series for me. It was bad. So, we'll definitely have to agree-to-disagree on that.

  19. Yes, I thought it was spot on. For that one episode? When only KHR did any acting? Yes, it was. So, yes, we are going to have to agree to disagree.

  20. IMO, Ksenia Solo can--surprisingly enough--pull off the puns. I would never have thought so after Life Unexpected but hey it's good to be wrong. I did love KHR and KS in Original Skin though. But I have to agree with you about Zoie Palmer and Anna Silk. And sadly KC Collins, who is adorable and tries so very hard, but needs to stay away from heavy lifting acting-wise (Saving Hope was just painful poor guy) and Rick Howland. Really the cast isn't filled with great actors, but they have good chemistry with each other so the lighter, campier stuff is better suited to their strengths. I wish they hadn't tried to grow the story into a dramatic serial. And Silk started to do a wide-eyed, high-pitched voice thing for Bo in season 2 that has never sat well with me. I'd like her to go back to the tough, snarky Bo from season 1. Alas, sadly I am not in charge.

  21. I thought Under My Skin was KHR's episode. He was perfect. It is sad they don't give him decent material to work with because the guy can definitely act. I thought KS was way too stiff. AS and KCC were awful and I liked parts of the crazy Doc but felt like Zoie Palmer tried too hard. Def agree they aren't fantastic actors but their chemistry makes it bearable. But I'm always in the minority it seems, as I hated the episode and it seems to be a fan favorite, so...

  22. Oh, I liked ZP's compared to everyone else. She is def second best which is not saying much, but there you go...

  23. So... a few things to consider. They were either a bit rusty or this is staged because if that is actually a legit situation, then that is the most horribly acted/written scene I've seen in a LONG time.

  24. Oh, you're right. I forgot about KC Collins. His attempt to imitate Ciara didn't go well either. As you said, the cast isn't filled with great actors but, fortunately, all of these people were well-cast for their roles. They'd do well to stick to those roles and not veer out of their comfort zones. Part of that responsibility falls on the showrunner too. They should know their cast well enough to not give them material that they can't handle.

  25. This is sorta how I imagined S3 would start. Can't wait to see what the rest of the new ep holds for us :)
