    Okay, I figured it out. Click on the little gear to the right of the discussion, community, and "my disqus" tabs, go to "edit settings", and when the dashboard pops up there should be a link toward the left of the popup that says "avatar".

    I probably can't do it with google, as I'm using my email account. I'm not getting the edit settings. Oh well. Doesn't really matter.

    I also use my email account, just click on the arrow by the gear and edit account and then go to avatar.
