Andrew Scott has ruled out a return to Sherlock. Scott's villain Jim Moriarty shot himself in the head during a confrontation with Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock Holmes, in the show's second series finale 'The Reichenbach Fall'.

I'm sure they could explain away what happened to Sherlock, but yeah, a bullet to the head can't really be fixed. Unless Sherlock wakes up and it was all a dream haha
ReplyDeleteGood. Moriarty shot himself in the head, he's dead and should stay dead. His storyline ends in Reichenbach Fall in canon as well. Now if only Irene can stay gone and we just continue with Sherlock and John...
ReplyDeleteI would have actually liked to see him return. I really liked [loved more like it] BBC's version of Moriarty. He was so fun, one of the best [human] villians I've ever seen in a tv series. Not sure how they could have pulled off his return though...but still, would have loved to see him come back.
