Man, this show was cute at first. Shania was a smart kid, and I thought that this show might address the issues that we are so afraid to voice out. It has a good agenda. And then, slowly, episode by episode, this show is getting preachy to the point that it's irritating. I mean, the way they portray the gay guys is like these guys are given birth to by angels who live in heaven. They are so perfect, and everybody else is just damaged individuals. I am gay, believe me, that some gays are just as dicks and jerks and assholes as many other straight guys, this is what we call humans.
Even Shania is now seriously annoying. Now she seems more self-righteous rather than smart. Why do these guys have the need to entertain all of this kid's dumb philosophies and life principles? She is not cute anymore. I guess wasting your time by cooking Tofurkey and not eating it and just dumping it in trash is better killing a turkey and eating it.
I tried to tell myself that this show will get back on track, but this thanksgiving episode is just the deal breaker when Brian said, "You have to kill these birds? I thought you have the ready-to-go ones?" I was like, "How did you get the ready-to-go ones if you don't kill them first???" No matter how racist, homophobic Nana can be, but in this episode she is the most sensible one I can see.
I think Ryan Murphy needs to stop treating this world like it is going to declare a World War against gays anytime soon. I mean, gay people are in a better place than many years ago. Why does he have to act like everyone is as ignorant and homophobic as he thought they would be? This show is so preachy! I can't stand it anymore.
I know Ryan's not gonna read this, but may the odds be in my favor and he'll stumble upon this and realize how stupider his show has become, including Glee.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
