  1. So many 9/11 themed episodes making me cry tonight.

  2. That was awesome! I love that Danny named Grace after his partner. And was not expecting the September 11th reveal!

And aww at Steve/Danny time. I'm glad Steve stayed to comfort him through the bomb and then the hug. The hug!

    Great episode!

  3. Sad that Danny's partner died, but cute that he named his daughter after her. As for Cath...holy shit. I still think Kono looks better in a bikini, but not by much. That's saying a lot considering that Grace Park is gorgeous.

Steve, your girlfriend is clearly getting annoyed that you mostly call her for favors. She almost didn't even pick up the phone. That's a straight line to a messy breakup. Pull your act together and start treating her better. The fact that you weren't poolside with your beautiful girlfriend in the first place is bad enough.

  4. I almost didn't get the 9/11 reference (before Steve mentioned it). I had kinda forgot where Danny worked in NJ - Newark, was it? Someplace near enough to NYC to see the skyline....
At first I thought it was just a fire truck going to a fire, but after the police cars whizzed by as well and I took another look at the smoke, it all came together.

In all, a great episode. The flashback had so many emotions. Poor Danny, it was both the best and probably one of the worst days of his life. But it was cute to see where Grace got her namesake, however tragic.

    The ending? Totally adorable!

  6. Awesome episode !!!

    I really loved it !

It's the best episode of the season, and a great job was made on it : the story, how they mixed present, with 9/11th, and the name of Grace ... It was just AMAZING !

Can't wait until next monday to see the next episode !

  8. It was way better than I feared it would be. It was really great, but I still think the Danny part back in NJ was too long. The ep won't make it into my top 5 but it's pretty close.

  10. See what I told you LOL
They always do things great, whatever is the storyline ;)

  11. LOL - but not to worry, I'm always open minded about Five-0. Even though I loudly complain about Danny, there is ALWAYS a lot to love about an episode and about Danny. I just don't like him alone. Those scenes don't give me anything.

With Grace was totally cute and great, with Steve awesome.

And not liking Danny is just a personal preference and has nothing to do with the quality of the show. But I still prefer more Steve, Chin and Cath. As you see, not a big fan of Kono either. :-)

  12. Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about Cath and Steve. This episode was supposed to be number 5, before next week's ep and before Halloween. Seems to me that Steve realized in this one that he has to do something about his not-girlfriend, hence the necking on the couch. ;-)

  13. LOL ... I was kidding, because you were the only one not to be enthousiastic about this episode ^^

Personaly I prefer Kono than Chin, don't know why, I loved Daniel on Lost, but now on H50 I'm little bit annoyed with him

About Danno, it depends what it's ! This episode was amazing from MY point of view because we understand and learn a lot of things about him and I love theses episodes were we are taking by our feelings

But, I think they could have done this episode better, with the story they had, it could be an epic episode
But I have this feeling since the beginning of the third season, like if they don't go until the end of their meaning, like if they don't give everything they have :)

  14. I'm not sure who was panicking more when the beeping sped up, me or Danny.
What an absolutely awesome ep. The way they worked the double storyline was brilliant, and both were brilliant storylines. It's sad about Danny's partner, and as soon as Steve said to Danny about him having not called for backup, I did think that that could have been why. Nice of Danny to name Grace after his partner.
If they had made this a 2 hour special (one night, not over two Monday's) this could have been even better. But that's probably just me :)

  15. I really hope Sam is right , but I agree with you Aydrian because their relationship is getting annoying to me (except last week episode which was awesome concerning Cath and Steve)
I really want a change on that, and I hope it's getting better, more serious and stronger in the next episodes
However, I also think that, because of their change, it's a little different .
They really have to move on with them and make it a great thing for the serie !

  17. OH no no ! it's not just you !!! lol

    I wanted a 2 hour episode ! it would worth I'm sure !

It would have been much more better !!! (with all the team in danger ... :pppp)

but it as an awesome episode anyway :)))

  19. It took awhile, but I just got that last part of your comment, and burst out laughing in agreement.

  20. Yes episode 6 is actually episode 5 so last weeks was meant to be episode 7 and next week is actually episode 6. Got that? Ask me any question about Five-0 I'm pretty much a walking encyclopedia on the new Hawaii five-0

I agree wow Michelle does have a good body and yes this is from a 31 year old woman

  21. Yes I agree I did not see that 9/11 mention coming at all. And I watched Bones after that so yes I was very emotional in both of those episodes :(

    ReplyDelete
  22. I agree I didn't think that at all also when Steve mentioned it. I even felt guilty saying oh come on it's a fire why don't they stop! bad mistake!

  23. I don't the gov would like the headline a crazed cop shoots the speaks over a 1 Direction song at a father/daughter dance would fit very nicely with his Immunity

    ReplyDelete
  24. I agree the mention of a possible terrorist attack halfway through would've screened a 2 hour episode but these writers can write it all in 43 minutes trust me these guys are like legends!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I was thinking somebody was going to say something like that why put a Jersey storyline in there and just make it all in Hawaii instead if they didn't mention the 9/11 surprise in the end. I'm glad that didn't happen. At least we'll find out about Steve's past in January with the SEAL's can't wait

  26. I agree with most of the comments of what everybody said there! So I'll just make this short...

BEST EPISODE OF THE SERIES! Could Scott get any better with his acting? And yes I did not see the 9/11 mention there I was crying for 10 minutes even during Bones which I watched after. Man I still can't stop talking about it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yeah, they wrote it brilliantly for a 44 minute ep, but it was getting near the end, and Danny still hadn't got any further in his story. They could have extended it all, but I dunno, it may have been less good..

  28. Brilliant episode! Loved the flashbacks to Danny's past. The 9/11 reveal was very poignant and Danny naming his daughter after his partner was very sweet. Great team moments as well and good case. The only downside was the One Direction at the beginning and end.
