ummm you know I think that sometimes less is more, often when shows start showing many stories at the same time none of these ends being strong enough, but I guess that while the show is developing some other stories will be added to the main one.
Just an ok ep. The cotw was a bit weak to me and the Muirfield plot didn't come across as threatening as it probably should've. The softball game bit was a bit cheesy as it would've been more believable if she got a base hit to drive in the winning run rather than a badly vfx'd homerun to win the game as she was pretty bad in the batting dept... lol
I actually feel like it is getting better and the actors are starting to find some chemistry and personality with each other and the tone is lightening up a bit. Vincent is actually getting better (well not at the roaring, but the day to day). It is funny because every week I keep hoping for Arrow to hit it's stride and make Stephen Arnell likable, cause he looks so good and has a nice serious scowl, but then he talks and it all shatters for me, and I have to pick up the hope again that they will find a character for him, but I didn't think these guys had a chance of ever making me like Jay Ryan, but he is actually growing on me. Instead I'm cringing more at Arrow than I am at this. Weirdness.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
think the show gets better per week, but i'm missing some stories beside the catherine-vincent plot!

ReplyDeleteFinally an ep that I liked from start to finish, now hope they keep it up. If this one had not been good, I was gone.
