  1. Now I guess there's no doubt that Cora is the Queen of Hearts...

In 2x09, I wonder what that 2nd sentence means- enter the portal from which way? From Storybrooke to FTL is what I'm guessing.

  2. I guess Emma and Snow do get the compass first, can't wait to see the communication between Charming and Snow!!!

  3. Hmmm. Regina, quit working with Gold.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Or maybe they plan to kill anyone who comes over from FTL to Storybrooke? So they can stop Cora and Hook from wreaking havoc?

Why the hell is Regina working with Gold? Even if this is some sort of forced alliance to bring Emma and Snow back, Gold/Rumple always finds a way to screw Regina over for his own gain and I'm sure this will be no different.

  6. this is my thought. David get in touch with MM, who tells him about Hook/Cora, so Regina/Gold -- as the only two who seem to have the magic necessary to fight Cora in SB -- come up with this. Otherwise, what's the point of getting David to communicate with MM?

    ReplyDelete
  7. May just mean that what they have to do to establish communication with FTL is inherently dangerous, not that it's their plan to hurt him. Thus the wording, "must put David's life in danger".

    ReplyDelete
  8. so they want to kills everyone who enters the portal from FTL? even try to kill Emma or Snow (on the off chance that Cora or Hook is following them?) sounds a bit weird...

but we all know Emma and her family will be back in storybrooke and together again- wasn't there a photo of episode 10 or 11 with the whole main cast together?

  9. It does sound weird... the whole thing. I'll just wait to see how it plays out. Spoilers always tend to be worded funny. They certainly must know that allowing Cora into SB is not an option, not only from their history, but b/c of what MM tells them. I mean, Cora just ripped the hearts out of an entire village in FTL. What would she do in a world that doesn't even believe in such magic? It could just be their gut reaction, the way David's was to kill FrankenDaniel for the good of the town. Or it may just be a cryptically worded spoiler that means something entirely different. I personally can't wait to see what happens.

  10. Could say the same thing about Regina, tbh. She's used Gold before, too.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'm trying to remember when but all I remember is him setting her up.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think Gold/Regina are forced to work together, because they both have a huge interest in preventing Hook/Cora from coming through the portal to Storybrooke. Somehow they must have gotten knowledge of their plans. Maybe due to some use of magic David/Charming is the "communicator" to FTL?

  13. The plotting this year is incredible. Two sets of powerful villains manipulating things in two different worlds, heading for a huge confrontation.

  14. Does this not sound conflicting?

Cora tries to steal the compass from Emma and Mary Margaret

Hook and Cora face off with Emma and Mary Margaret in a race for the compass

So do they or don't they have the compass??????

And are we going to be glimpsing Wonderland again? -Since it seems like 2x09 is going to give us the Cora reveal!?

  15. InvestedInYourFuture2 November 2012 at 13:29

Frankly in this case, keeping Cora and Hook out of FTL is in the best interests of them both.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I guess in 2.08 MM and Emma don't retrieve the compass so in 2.09 its a race against who finds it first,Emma and MM or Cora and Hook?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Ya, but Cora is "stealing it from Emma", suggesting Emma has it in order to be able to steal it from her, but then the next episode says that they all "race for it"?!

It must "get away" from them all by the end of 2x08 in order for this to make sense! :D

OMG And so GOOD to see on here! I have been worried, because of crazy Sally!

  18. Ya,your right i had to read it again. So whats the deal,it is confusing!

Thanks! ;) I don't know what was worse not having power or running water? Each was horrible to experience, after 4 days of having nether wore out our nerves! The European weather service said this morning we are expecting another storm to hit the East coast. They also predicted the last storm and its path,YIKES! really don't know if i can deal with another so close,we are still reeling from this one. Missed this sight and everyone one it,i felt lost not being able to be here,ha!

Have we found out who the Doctor is? I have so many shows to catch up on and i'm icthing to know!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh geese I hope the EWS is wrong! I worried about not having Water for our horses, but Ohio didn't get as bad as they thought it might. Let's hope the hope the US is done with big crazy storms for a long long long time.

We did learn the first part of who Doctor Whale is, but some of us think there is another part and kind of think his "reality" might not be what it seems as there are allusions to a VERY well known book series along side Mary Shelley's novel hinted in association to him in the episode....But I will not spoil you!

    ReplyDelete
  20. OMG i didn't realize Ohio got hit by the storm too! Last night i finally got back tv and internet and the news basically concentrated on NY and Jersey.I haven't watched CNN yet just local. Are the horses ok and what about you and your family, how did you guys fair in this?

  21. "Mr. Gold and Regina plan to kill anyone who enters the portal."
Question is: enters the portal from Storybrooke to FTL or the other way around? It would make absolutely no sense for them to help David and then try to kill Emma and Snow, so I'm guessing it means Storybrooke to FLT.

And, well, I wasn't holding my breath, but these give us absolutely no clue on why 2x09 is called Queen of Hearts. Cora features on it, but that's all. Still, I'll be honestly shocked if this Queen turns out to be someone other than her.

  22. Maybe the "Belle situation" could be considered the one time Regina actually managed to use Gold.

    ReplyDelete
  23. YES! More Cora/Barbara! I'm so happy she's back!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Good to hear that Gold and Regina will have to work together! I love their interactions! I can never get enough of it!

    ReplyDelete
  25. What if Henry tries to enter the portal?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hook wants to get to storybrooke to take revenge on Gold. But I wonder what exactly are Cora's plans. I don't think she wants to kill Regina or Henry....Any theories?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I get the feeling like they might use the connection between charming and Snow, like how when snow bit the apple charming could feel it and was in pain, I think they might do something to charming so snow feels the pain?

    ReplyDelete
  28. When it came inland it managed to out reach across the whole state, even though the eye went through PA, before going north-ish again.

The counties closer to lake and Ohio River had flood warnings and flooded, and south western Ohio got snow, and we just got high 70/80 MPH winds and a lot of steady drizzle. -We had a couple trees uproot (in fact one was leaning/starting to come down when Revolution started, so I missed it and only finally was able to watch it last night.) we had to call tree company to chop stuff apart, but other than that Ohio/We was/were pretty lucky. But it's incredible, the size of the storm how far it could spanned across! -I hope for all of sakes this doesn't become the new normal.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Poor Charming! To risk a life for a simple contact! It has to work! It will I guess, since it looks like Regina and Rumple know about Cora and Hook. They sound pretty desperate in Ep. 9!
    So we got:
Charming&Henry (and their friends) against Regina&Gold and Emma&Snow against Cora&Hook!
This will be so amazing! Can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  30. That would be so great! I loved how much connected they were!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Your right, these last few years have been incredibly crazy,in terms of weather that is! I'm glad you and your family are fine, horses too!

The one thing i was worried about was not getting power and cable back for tonight's Fringe, can you believe it,ha! :P Their is something about watching the show when it first runs, knowing everyone else is also watching...call me crazy,lol.. ;)

I don't think anyone going through the portal to fairytale land is an issue. Why would anyone want to do that? They are opening a portal because they want someone - Snow and Emma - to come through the portal from fairytale land to Storybrooke, not the other way around. So the issue is making sure that no one other than Snow and Emma comes through. Cora, for example. And Gold surely wouldn't want Hook in Storybrooke either.

  33. That's not even using him though. That was an attempt to outplay him that didn't work or didn't come to fruition.

I guess you could say she "set him up" with Moe French but there was no way for her to know that he would attempt to beat the guy to death. Certainly not in the way where he orchestrated everything with Kathryn to backfire so she would be out of his way and or how he used her to enact the curse.

    ReplyDelete
  34. That will be my favourite part of those episodes, too!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yeah, I see your point, but I guess he saw it as "using". He said to her: you didn't kill her, you did something worse, you kept her locked up and intended to kill her when it suited you.

It would be more like blackmail, but I guess the point is Regina actually accomplished keeping Belle as a secret and having the girl at her disposal for future dealings with Rumple, whenever it was convenient.

Anyway, I still agree: usually, Regina is the one who ends up at the bad side of the bargain, at least when it comes to Gold.

    ReplyDelete
  36. If Hook makes it to Storybrooke, Rumple's in a lot of trouble. If Cora makes it, everybody is in a lot of trouble, especially Regina and who knows what beef Cora may have with Rumple. It is in anybody's best interest that Hook and Cora stay in FTL. Regina and Rumple have some sort of understanding between them that they need each other and that's the reason they don't tear up Storybrooke. Hook and Cora will have no hesitation when it comes to killing everybody in Storybrooke if they think it benefits their planned revenge.

  37. Full fanfic mode Regina torture. If Cora tries to kill Henry, it will be to get to Regina, IMO. He's the only thing she loves and mommy will stick to the "Love is weakness" way of life.

But I'm still not sure if that will be all of it. I mean, will Cora want revenge, pure and simple, or will she want power? Or, worse, will she try and make Regina get back to full Evil Queen mode? I wouldn't put it past her.

  38. Anyone know what the last scheduled episode of OUAT is before they go on holiday break?

    ReplyDelete
  39. According to IMDb, Child of the Moon (2x07) airs on November 11th, which means there would be no breaks till then. Both 2x08 and 2x09 are scheduled to air on the 25th, which is obviously a mistake, but hints they'll have no episode on the 18th. I heard (somewhere, don't remember where) the producers say 2x09 would be the last one before holidays, so I'm guessing December 2nd or 9th, at the latest.

Not very helpful, but that's all I got.

  41. Oh, yeah, that's right, I'd totally forgot about it. Tks!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thanks. I guess that means the reunion episode won't air until they come back in January. I was just wondering what the show would attempt for a cliffhanger between December and January.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I saw a correction somewhere that said the reunion episode was actually 2x09. So possibly it ends with that.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Oh, alright. Seems a little counter-intuitive to go into a break like that but maybe they've got something else up their sleeves.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oooo...these episodes sound great! I can't wait!

  46. I can see why some may speculate that Cora and the QoH are one in the same. I just don't see why they would cast a fairly well known actress to play the QoH in the ep she firt appeared in? If it was mearly to conceal the twist as long as possible by not having BH listed in the credits as QoH then why not cast an unknown. Like the did when casting the nurse who gaurded Belle in the lower level of the hospital, the one Regina gave a rose to in season 1. I'm just not buying that Cora is the QoH. Can't wait for the next ep though!
