Mordred finds himself torn between loyalty and love, but little does he realise that the path he chooses will shape Camelot's destiny.

As the drums of war beat ever louder, a desperate Merlin feels trapped by the cruel circle of fate - is he powerless to stop his dreams of Albion from crumbling to dust?

Colin Morgan is Merlin, Bradley James is Arthur, Angel Coulby is Gwen, Katie McGrath is Morgana, Richard Wilson is Gaius and John Hurt is the voice of the Great Dragon. Alexander Vlahos is Mordred, Tom Hopper, Rupert Young, and Eoin Macken return as The Knights of the Round Table.

    I'm starting to think that it's not gonna be covered, thou tbh as it's this late in the day I think I'd rather they didn't bother as I fear any resolution with Arthur won't be covered satisfactorily :( I know they have never seen it as any kind of priority to the tale they want to tell, but until recently I have held out hope. (Yeah, I'm kinda pessimistic tonight too I think, working until late hasn't helped, lol)

    it would just be utterly cruel for them to string along the hope of a reveal for so long and not allow these hopes to be fulfilled. it theres no reveal ima seriously ball my eyes out.

    I so feel for poor Merlin if his dreams doesn't come true... I identifiy with Merlin since the beginning of his story and the show... If it's a sad ending for Merlin himself, I'll be sad too!

    Although I have been convinced so far that this is the last season - maybe the reason why nothing MAJOR is happening up to now is that they have another season up their sleeve? With a reveal being the cliffhanger..... - as usual clutching at straws....
