Darkness steals into the very heart of Camelot, as Morgana and her puppet Queen hatch a sinister plan to murder the King.
But when stable hand Tyr Seward becomes caught in the crossfire, he threatens to ruin everything… As the plot thickens and reaches its deadly climax, can a suspicious Merlin unravel the truth before it’s too late?

Colin Morgan is Merlin, Bradley James is Arthur, Angel Coulby is Gwen, Katie McGrath is Morgana, Richard Wilson is Gaius and John Hurt is the voice of the Great Dragon. Tom Hopper, Rupert Young, Eoin Macken and Adetomiwa Edun return as The Knights of the Round Table. Special guest John Bradley as Tyr.

    Well, here we go again - another Morgana puppet. No doub't it'll be Gwen this time. This is already ep 7 and no sign of a reveal!

    I'm getting very tired of these episodes telling us a recycled way for Morgana to kill Arthur. Can't we get stories concentrating on telling us the story of Merlin getting adventures during which he encounters magical creatures that will make him learn more about himself and his powers... This show really needs more Merlin-centric episodes & storylines!

    I can understand how fans of the show feel about the episodes that have aired so far. There are many more to come with story lines that may/may not surprise us. But we do have to remember that there has been a three year gap and things may have taken place that we are unaware of and may not become aware of unless spoken about. Morgana has been trying to take the throne of Camelot for over fours years now and the girl is committed, I give her that. We all know how the legend ends (at least in theories to stories) and do wish because the King and Queen are married that there would be more interaction (it's a family show, no matter what time it comes on). Merlin as a person, warlock, servant, and friend has grown even if it is not the way many fans wish he had. There are more episodes to come and more to be revealed.
