    That's an understatement. How someone like Ruby (a non-resident of Bluebell) could just show up out of the blue and compete with Lavon (a person who is almost universally liked and respected) in a place that seems to be doing exceedingly well socially and financially in spite of the current economic climate is beyond me.

    I'm not sure what happened to his 98% approval rating...apparently that Southern Living status was *really* important to BlueBellians.

    Ha! I think the HoD people made that rating disappear along with plenty of rational and logical thought in order to make this storyline work. :)
