    Even though I still struggle with accepting these two as "Watson & Holmes," this is a fun procedural on its own merits.

    I'm struggling a bit more with a female Watson, but Jonny Lee Miller is really winning me over. He seems to lean more toward the "ridiculous quirky" side than Robert Downey Jr. did, though. They allowed his Holmes to be a bit more charming.

    I don't mind the fact that Watson is female. The entire series is a radical reimagining of the franchise so a change like this fits right in and Lucy Liu has exceptional onscreen chemistry with JL Miller.
