The funny parts with Vastra, Jenny and Strax almost overshadowed the Doctor's gloom for me. But I'm still sad from the Ponds leaving too. I know that he'll cheer up by the end of the Special, though. Great preview! Looking forward to the whole thing. :)
i have to admit, and i am sure i am alone in this, but i am a little disappointed in it. i know the doctor loved and adored amy and rory, but at the same time, for the doctor to let it have that kind of effect doesn't seem right. it is quite selfish to be honest, his best friends got to live a good happy life together. sad is one thing, but letting it take you away from everything is another. kind of a slap in the face to amy and river and their encouraging him to not be alone, etc. And speaking of river, and i am sure i am alone in this, it bothers me that at such critical times the powers that be choose to neglect the fact that they have themselves stated river is one of the most important characters in the who world, and certainly to the doctor, yet at these moments where apparently the doctor's whole life has fallen apart, river is not there, especially after amy, in her "dying" moment told her to look after him. ok, rant over :) still LOVE the show, but those things bother me a bit about the minisode and the trailer.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
After watching that, I think I've figured out The Doctor's real name. It's Eeyore.
ReplyDeleteI love the new outfit. I kept thinking Mad Hatter. lol.
ReplyDeleteI *almost* spit coffee all over my keyboard.
ReplyDeleteDepression and inanity all rolled into one. Looks awesome
ReplyDeleteAlmost is much better than the alternative. :)
