Chicago Fire continues to burn bright for NBC.

The network has give a full-season order to the freshman comedy starring Taylor Kinney, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

    This has been such a confusing season. Shows that are getting bad to mixed reviews and/or ratings are getting more episodes.

    Great news! The show really is getting better and better. I just hope it continues to burn as bright when the Casey/Voight situation is resolved.That's what's contributing to a good deal of the drama right now.

    well it bumped up to a 2.2 A18-49 emo this week and 7.03 viewers which by NBC Standards is really good so I huess that's why it got a full season order of 22 episodes

    That's great news I enjoy this show no problem at all! I hope all the other new faves will be pickd up soon too like Elementary, Last Resort & 666 Park Avenue

    It's a great show, far more promising and enjoyable than what early previews led people to believe. Glad I gave it a shot! It's one of my new favorites that I actually watch vs. DVR and never get around to it...
