  2. Not to discredit Thea's advice (which isn't bad) but again I must wonder why Tommy turns to a troubled teenage girl with seemingly no serious relationship experience to figure something like this out. This makes me question whether or not this guy has any adult friends.

  3. They're building up for tommy to be a enemy. Specifically Melryn

  4. ah okay. You know that from the comics ?

  5. well, Merlyn the magician is one of his archenemies and Tommy's name is Tommy Merlyn. Pretty big coincidence!

  6. There's really no need for Tommy to be so subtle about the girl - I'm pretty sure Thea can work out it's Laurel he's talking about.

  7. Agreed. Thea is many things but she's not a moron.

  8. I wasn't aware of any specifics but I have been figuring Tommy would eventually end up an adversary. I'm assuming that Laurel and Oliver's inability to stay away from each other and Tommy's eventual rejection would turn him against Oliver, making him bitter, angry, and vengeful.

  9. LOL. I think that's precisely the problem. Since he is portrays as quite a playboy, like Ollie was back in the day, my guess is he doesn't have any friends who are girls with whom he hasn't slept with. That leaves only Thea who is a friend by association.

  10. Yeah, I get the impression that Tommy probably doesn't have any mature, responsible adult friends so his options are limited.
