Thanks to The Spoiler Fairy for sending us the following..

Rutger Hauer has been hired as a regular to play the part of Macklyn is season 6. The character is mysterious, seems menacing at first, and has a strong link to Sookie and Jason. Another regular role, Ben, is still being cast. Ben is around 30 years old, a southern gentleman, and has an extremely dark side. Two other recurring roles are the governor of Texas, who is a war supporter, and the governor's daughter, who is tougher than she first appears to be.

  7. I don't know if Warlow will be around the entire season, we've already seen it with Roman being added as a series regular and he wasn't. I hope season 6 will be better than season 5, which completely went downhill and got too bizarre.

  8. And after the fourth season was so good too.

  9. I don't know about that, the fifth season should have been written differently. Hopefully with the new showrunner the storylines will be fixed and improved.

  10. Rutger Hauer is great. To me, it doesn't matter what role he's playing. I'm just glad he's on the show.

  12. What I would love to know is when is this series ever go back to the books? The material was there for all to see and use, and everything has been messed up major with storylines going completely haywire, these books are great but the series (pardon the pun) SUCKS MAJOR!

  13. The book and the series are two different things. This show is just a spin off of the books. It's not the same..
