Hope you guys enjoy and sorry for the over the top intro. But was fun. The debate was fun this week
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! Looking forward to this one!
ReplyDeleteIt is my favourite one we have ever done, even though you wouldn't think it when you hear me during the podcast haha
ReplyDeleteCaskett FTW!!!! This couple is THE best romance written and told on television, hands down!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure my favorite part of this entire podcast was listening to all of CJ's "shipper" names hahaha... I almost died laughing at some of them. Lots of fun this week :)
ReplyDeleteI'm agreed that Ross and Rachel have to be one of the top TV couples of all time - they're immediately who I think of, and are definitely hard to beat.
As far as current couples go, I'm a huge fan of Booth and Brennan on Bones. I've loved watching their relationship progress throughout the years, and while some say it took too long, I love the place they're in now. I think they're incredibly strong together.
well Castle of course!
ReplyDeleteHa! This should be a fun podcast, can't wait to listen, but it'll have to wait till tomorrow afternoon!
ReplyDeleteCastle and Beckett, just watched the first 2 eps again and they have rocked from day one.
ReplyDeleteCastle and Beckett, for sure! One of the best scripted couples I've ever seen:)
ReplyDeleteDamon + Elena = Delena
ReplyDeletehahahahaha
i'm a big Delena fan!!!
*.*
I'm partial to two couples:
ReplyDeleteDesmond and Penny - Epic couple who transcended TIME. Who does that?
Chuck and Sarah - One of the most under appreciated couples in TV history as far as I'm concerned.
Hmm... I liked better:
ReplyDeleteon Friends, Chandler and Monica were "the" couple for me. It was a less complicated and still interesting and fun couple. I think of Friends, I think of them, not of Ross and Rachel.
on Battlestar Galactica, Helo and Athena were a great and lasting couple.
Also and in a certain way even more meaningful was Gaius Baltar and Number Six, they were one of the defining couples which is ironic considering they weren't a couple for most of the show, but it still felt natural when they finally got back together in the last episode... it had a feeling of coming full circle.
But no couple on Friends on my list of favourite romantic couples.
Gaius Baltar and Number Six could be on my list. Buffy and Angel - I could see that.
No one mentionned Charmed - Phoebe and Cole were one of the great couples and I have to admit that my interest went down when that wasn't anymore and I eventually stopped watching.
Max and Liz definitely had that teen romance going on Roswell, it's never been done that well since I think.
damon and elena!!!
ReplyDeleteCastle & Beckett, always. <3
ReplyDeleteDamon and Elena from TVD of course!! I'm a big fan!
ReplyDeleteI love also the attraction between Gannicus and Melina in Spartacus : Gods of the Arena!!
Totally agreed!!! My friend i completely agree with you !!!
ReplyDeleteOn which one? :)
ReplyDeleteBoth actually !!! I loved Lost and Chuck !!!
ReplyDeletecastle & beckett .... best romance written in a century!
ReplyDelete1) Chuck & Sarah - A nerd and a spy.. (season 5 aside) It can't get better than that!!
ReplyDelete2) Castle & Beckett - 4 seasons to get them together and it never got boring along the way!
Dan and Blair from Gossip Girl : from enemies to frenemies, frenemies to friends, friends to lovers.
ReplyDeleteMaria and Michael from Roswell : hottest couple on TV!
Oh, Chuck and Sarah...it was a really lovely couple.
ReplyDeleteI am between Chuck & Sarah and Beckett & Castle...
Jax and Tara, Sons of Anarchy. Their love is complicated, but seems more real that any other love story on TV.I love that they are still together in season 5, not many shows would let it go on so long.
ReplyDeleteDesmond and Penny (Lost)
ReplyDeleteChuck and Sarah (Chuck)
Sun and Jin (Lost)
Castle and Beckett (Castle)
castle & beckett .... best romance written in a century![2]
ReplyDeleteWhat about Meredith and Derek?
ReplyDeleteI loved Max and Liz too. And I totally agree that most teen romances don't feel real compared to this one.
ReplyDeleteI also loved Chuck and Sarah. Not too sure about their ending though.
ReplyDeleteThere have only been 3 shows that hooked me with the first ep and Roswell/Max/Liz was one of them. Supernatural/brother bond and Veronica Mars/Logan were the other two.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say im torn between julliet and sawyer - lost
ReplyDeleteand damon and elena- tvd
and claire and charlie - lost
they are all awesome!!!!!!!!
snow/charming
ReplyDeleteCurrently on-air shows? Peter & Olivia (Fringe). Charming & Snow (Once Upon A Time).
ReplyDeleteInteresting choices! I also liked Friends' Chandler & Monica, as well as Charmed's Phoebe & Cole.
ReplyDelete(Btw, your Mentalist Red John logo icon creeps me out.)
I would have said The Doctor and River... Would you not say, CJ?
ReplyDeleteCastle & Beckett always!!!
ReplyDeleteDesmond and Penny - They werent main cast but they had best love in Lost
ReplyDeleteFriends to friends with benefits to me nothing more...
ReplyDeleteDesmond and Penny - They werent main cast but they had best love in Lost
ReplyDeleteStelena all the way !!!
ReplyDeleteCastle and Beckett. :)
ReplyDelete1-Castle & Beckett forever!!! They have the best romance ever written
ReplyDelete2- Snow and Charming They are so cute together
Vampire Diaries: Stephen and Elena
ReplyDeleteOUAT: Snow and Charming
Nikita: Nikita and Michael
And those are the only 3 shows I'm currently watching that currently have couples.
How about Monroe and Rosalee?
ReplyDeleteOnce Upon a Time: Rumple & Belle all the way! :) Now...there's no better Beauty and the Beast version for me. I will love them till eternity and sink with this ship in worst case <3.
ReplyDeletecastle & beckett .... best romance written in a century!
ReplyDeleteCaskett all the way ! no one can compete, caskett had the perfect evolution with amazing dialogues and beautiful scenes with all kind of emotions
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Marlowe for giving us this incredible show
Fringe's Peter and Olivia. They stand the test of time for me.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Chuck and Sarah. Hands down my favourite TV couple
